We're planning on a Calif trip from May 25th - 31st. We'll be doing DL CA on the 26th -27th. Then the dodger Cubs game on the 30th. We are trying to decide on one of the following 2 plans. The 28th -29th at either Knottsberry farms and Soak City or Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor. While the six flags side looks more fun we are concerned about the crowds on the holiday weekend. Any advice? Crew will consist of me, DW, DD(11), DS(7).

I know the crowds might be bigger, but I like Hurricane Harbor so much better than Soak City.

It really depends on what you're looking for.

Six Flags is basically a roller coaster park. Knotts also has coasters (more now), but also has some shows and different type attractions, like the Mystery Lodge. If the water park is not the main draw then I would say Knotts, but if you want a nicer water park, then Hurricane Harbor.

Hi!
Knott's Berry Farm is MUCH closer to DL....maybe 15-20 min. Six Flags is about 1hr 15 min. with absolutely no traffic! On a holiday weekend, that time can easily triple. I'd stick with Knott's for that reason alone. But, I also think Knott's has more variety and a better atmosphere.
