Our 10 year anniversary is next Oct. I am planning for our big trip!

I am open to anytime between end of Sept through 2nd week of December. I'm even considering Thanksgiving at WDW.

I am leery of end of Sept because of all the reports this year of the rainy weather (I know you cannot predict weather). I don't really feel like spending a week in the rain. We have gone the last week of Sept in the past and it was great, but that was before they extended F&W and now I'm not sure of crowds.

I am leery of the week of our actual anny because of the crowds (Oct 22). People are talking crazy crowds this week.

We have been right after Thanksgiving a couple of times but never right on Thanksgiving. I'd like to try to extend into Thanksgiving if we pick this timeframe to lesson the amount of school/work we'd miss.

So what would you pick? I am dreading planning this. I just want someone to plan it for me. I don't know why I'm having such issues with this.

I'm getting scared off with the crazy crowds they are experiencing right now.

DW and I have done our 15, 20, & 25th anniversaries on DCLs.
The time frame from mid-Sept through mid-Jan is the highest occupancy use time of the year for DVC. Whenever you decide to book , make sure you do so at your 11 month window.

As the PP said, it is a busy time of year in general....as for the weather....not much you can do....The crowds?.....same thing....honestly, I would pick a time that suits your personal situation the best and roll with it....:) Good Luck! :thumbsup2

I know we've done the first week in December and LOVED it. Weather was good (but you never know) and the crowds at the parks were fairly low. But as folks have said, DVC rooms book up quickly due to the lower points costs and all the decorations being in place.
