This is not your typical trip report because although I am a Disney nut, I do not however keep track of events well enough to give a detailed report. Not only that, I also never take nearly enough pictures to go with said report.
So, I thought I would just post a little something with the highs and lows and favorites. We just got back today and wanted to get it down before I begin to forget some of it!
This was a trip for my hubby and me. We never had a honeymoon so dh gave me a choice between Disney or the Bahama's......duh!

First of, I call this the trip of wobbly tables because nearly every table we ended up with was wobbly. We spent quite a bit of time in Epcot for the Food and Wine Festival and every table we went to was wobbly. For our meals, every table we ended up at was wobbly.
I still do not understand how we could possibly end up with so many wobbly tables! Before I forget, at the airport headed home, we got another wobbly table...........what are the odds!

Food and Wine was great! We had so much fun trying all the different kinds of food. Our favorite was a tie between the Capellini con Gamberi Piccanti (spicy shrimp with capellini pasta) in Italy and the Ropa Veja (slowly braised beef) with white rice in Caribbean.
Least favorite was Escargot in France.................I would have never, ever in a million years ordered that in a restaurant. That was what was so great about Food and Wine, you can try so many different things. I'll never eat it again but at least I can say I tried it.

We did go to Citystreet on our first night there. We were mainly interested in going to Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville. We were not impressed by anything else there. We used the Mears shuttle to get there and that worked out well. Glad we went, but won't be going back.

The whole week in general saw a decent crowd level. There was one day where the crowd level was so bad in Hollywood that we took off and went back to Epcot. It was much better at Hollywood the following day.
So, I highly recommend the park hopper, made a huge difference for us.

I also recommend taking advantage of the the evening extra magic hours if you can. We did that for Magic Kingdom one day. The park was insane when we got there (just before the Spectro parade) but then after Wishes, it cleared out and we rode rides back to back with no wait.
I wouldn't spend the whole day there to do it though. Just go close to the normal close time.
Speaking of Wishes, we ended up catching it one night behind the castle, close to the Philharmagic entrance...............it was very cool back there. Different perspective and very close to the action.

Really enjoyed the new que at Haunted Mansion, loved the upgrade to Star Tours.

Can't really thing of any negatives..................except maybe they should have people movers that connect you from park entrance to bus stops ;)

It was really a great trip and dh and I already planning the next family trip next November. We got to go as slow as we wanted to and have a list of things to show the kids when we take them back.

Oh yeah, I got the phone numbers for the phone booth in the United Kingdom in Epcot off the boards awhile back......................tried it, it really works!! Kind of hard to hear the ring but the numbers really work! It was really cool!
