Trip of Extremes and Dreams! Tons of Pics! 11/30 -12/10 Update Highlight to the End

Disney music is so much fun. DD downloaded some three CD's of Disney music with everything from the parks to the movies.

Our Christmas music is everything from Sinatra to Run DMC and Slash playing "Silent Night"!! :rotfl2: You know I'm a rocker chick, Kimba!!

I know you're a rocker chick! Do you have Monster Ballads Christmas? It's pretty awesome! I love the Dokken song!
But my most favorite singer of Christmas music is Bing Crosby...he's so dreamy!!:lovestruc I told DH that he's my dead guy crush, he said that it was ok because Bing is his "man crush" :lmao: :rotfl2:

We have lots of Disney music too. Holiday Wishes makes me cry every time!!

Kimba

I love those pictures...makes me feel like I am back where I was meant to be! :) HOW ARE YOU?!

I know!!! It really is the most wonderful place on earth. I feel so sorry for people who don't realize what magic is there. Although I guess I'm glad -- it would be super crowded if everyone figured it all out!! :lmao:

Wow, those pictures were awesome. I am just getting caught up on all the PTR's I have subscribed to, after a whirlwind of a week, and those pictures truly made me smile. My new fiance and I are considering POFQ for our Disneymoon next year, and I am glad to read such a glowing review of it. We have never stayed at a moderate, but POFQ seems so very quaint and serene, that I think we would like it. It also seems like a great value for the money- and we are about to be broke as a joke after this wedding :scared1:  I can't wait to hear more- and see more POFQ pictures :lovestruc

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR ENGAGEMENT!!!!!! That is so exciting, Ashley!! I'm so happy for you. It's such a special time in your life -- making all those plans, dreaming of the future, being the center of attention. Or was that just me? :rotfl2: Ohhh, now I'm already excited for your Disneymoon and reading your TR!! Hey, maybe you could start a Wedding PTR or Disneymoon PTR on the community board!! Ha, I'm just a little greedy, huh? I'm just super happy for you.

POFQ was just incredible. We've stayed at the deluxe to the All-Stars and really, really love POFQ so much. The whole New Orleans vibe seems to be there, the staff is so friendly and the rooms are great. We love it.

I would love to see the Osbourne lights, you're so lucky :)

We are really lucky, Jo! We've decided to go every year at this time -- it is just too beautiful to miss. I barely remember what Disney looks like without Christmas decorations!! :rotfl:

Love the lights!! Another reason to love MGM! :woohoo:

Definitely!! And the way the lights go on and off with the music and the snow .... OOHHHHH, I just can't wait!!!! :wizard:

I don't have Monster Ballads Christmas but guess what? I'm off to find it and order it!! Although I did just download a bunch of Johnny Cash doing Christmas music, too!!

I love Bing, too!!!! What a great voice and he was soooo ... well, Christmassy. Love the fact that your DH has a man crush!! When I was married, my rocker crush was Axl Rose!! Ohhh, the old days of rock! :cutie:

Congratulations, Ashley!! :woohoo: :yay: This is great news!

Great pictures! I love the one on Everest...I think I'd be too afraid to actually take my camera out of my bag. haha

I'm so jealous you will be there next month!

I made sure the strap was around my wrist and just went for it!! I really love those pictures, too!! I constantly fight with myself on which coaster I love the most -- Everest or RnR!!!

Since it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I thought I'd let you know of two of my favorite sites!!! Please visit them -- no donations required!!

http://www.armyofwomen.org/

Army of Women is determined to find the cure and eliminate breast cancer. I signed up, my girlfriends have.

http://www.thebreastcancersite.com/clickToGive/home.faces?siteId=2

Click to Give. You click everyday. The sponsors donate and women get mammograms. When I found my lump, I had no health insurance. I had just quit my job a few weeks before and was looking for another job. I had given up my health insurance, planning to get it at a new job. Things didn't turn out that way, though. I was so beyond thankful for places who helped the uninsured.

Good news in the adventures of Heidi's Health!!!

I went to my NEW PCP after I got rid of the idiot, and she checked through all my bloodwork from the past, the new stuff, and my meds, came to the conclusion that a mistake happened and that I certainly do not have diabetes!! I'm not even pre-!!! :yay: (The first diagnosis was being disguised by a cancer drug that I take) The bloodwork was very healthy, everything was great. She associated my tension migraines to stress and instructed me to settle the heck down :rotfl: . No, serioulsy, she said it was mostly all in my neck and explained how those muscles wrap around the brain and why my pain was in the back of my head. I'm to take four Aleve a day, drink a little caffeine (HAHAHAHAHAHAHA DD can't even yell about me about drinking coke :rotfl2: ) and do massage on my neck. No meds, which made me so happy.

So as far as that goes, I'm so healthy!!! :dance3: :woohoo: :cheer2:

Next is my oncologist and now that all the swelling is gone, I think I'm going to have a very good report from him, too. I can't even find the mystery lump that I fould and scared the crap out of all of us!!! :scared1: :yay: I have to have bloodwork with him to look for tumor markers in the blood, have to have and exam and possibly be tested for Epstien Bar, which isn't a big deal at all. So I'm feeling really positive about it!!

I'm just about good to go to Disney!!!! :cloud9: :dance3: :yay: princess: :upsidedow :goodvibes :rotfl:

And to all of you just for putting up with me!! :grouphug:

Fantastic Heidi :yay::yay::yay::yay::yay:

You must be so pleased, so what snacks are you getting at WDW now you're not diabetic? :rotfl:

What a GREAT bit of news!! I am so happy to hear all of these reports!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I must tell you, Stitch says that when Sir George was windshield surfing IT LOOKED LIKE FUN! :scared: What am I going to do when that boy starts driving?!:scared1:

I am looking forward to reading your trip report! I wish it was already time for you to go!! :cloud9:

Wow, what great news Heidi!!! I am thrileld about your good report, and I hope that we get to hear another good one from your oncologist :cool1: Your trip is getting super close now. Once you hit 50 days, it just seems to fly by- or that's what we have found at least!!

And yes, we are both very very excited about getting married. We are meeting with the minister Sunday after church to hopefully nail down a date- keep your fingers crossed for Oct 10, 2009! We actually picked this date because we could buy annual passes this year, an still get another use out of them next year for the Honeymoon!! That would be quite a money saver for us next year! As soon as I actually have some wedding details to speak of, I am certainly going to start a wedding report! As a sneak preview, expect a Disneymoon of course, and a color/theme of peacocks! I am excited jsut thinking about it :hyper:

All of them!!! :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Seriously, I got so ripped off last year regarding snacks, that this is one of the biggest things that I snark about, which always makes DD laugh! Once I got a pretzel (for snack) and a coke (which I was gonna pay for) but she charged both as snacks. And then I kept forgetting what I wanted, wasn't hungry, wrong timing. It ended up with me having to get junk in Jackson Square on the last night.

And this year -- my sweet taste buds have finally come back after the chemo and sweet things will taste good again!!!!

AND ... since I'm on Tamoxifen and can't seem to lose or gain any weight no matter what I do -- FREEBIE!! :lmao: :rotfl:

This year is gonna be sooooooooo different! I have LISTS!!

Some of the things I want:

Magic Kingdom: Funnel Cake, Dole Float, Cherry turnover, Frozen Icies, (COKE), Cappuccino Float

*****bag of grapes .............. OMG! Who gets that for their snack???? :rotfl:

MGM: Popcorn, cuz somehow Disney Popcorn tastes different, Spicy Cheese Suffed Pretzel, CupCake from Starring Rolls, Iced Cappuccino

Epcot: Soft Pretzel from Germany, Apple Studel with vanilla sauce from Germany, Rootbeer Float, Chocolate Croissant, Egg Rolls if possible, somethings from Sunshine Seasons

Animal Kingdom: Onion Rings from Flame Tree, Egg Rolls

Sort of a big list, huh?? Well, since I have my "SODA SAVINGS" that DD knows nothing about, SHHHHH I might have to dip into it!! I am such a bad girl!!!

What a GREAT bit of news!! I am so happy to hear all of these reports!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

It really is great news, Jay!! I'm so happy!! I feel like maybe now I'm over the hill (the cancer was the mountain) and now I'm just going to keep getting healthier and stronger!!

Oh Lord, you're gonna have those three big boys driving and Little Prince wanting to!! Poor Jay -- we'll all be here for you!!!

As soon as I saw him on the windshield, I thought of Stitch and was so glad I had my camera in my purse!! I couldn't believe he stayed on for the whole trip!

We are loving your report! If anyone wants to read a GREAT GREAT TR, Jay has one that I highly recommend. It is fabulous with great pictures but the toes are mine! :lmao:

I can't wait for our trip, too!!!!! It is coming faster and faster and boy are we ready for it!!!!!!!!!!!

It really was great news. There have been times that I felt good and somehow got unhappy news and then times I felt crappy and they said I was okay. :confused3 This one was good all the way around!

October 10, 2009 sounds perfect!!! And I LOVE that you guys picked it for a Disney reason!!! That certainly adds in pixie dust!! :wizard: The color and theme of peacocks -- GORGEOUS!!! I'm excited too!!!!
