Hi Everyone!

I have some stuff to tell you. A few nights ago, I found another lump in my breast. I have an appointment with my oncologist on the 26th, so please send prayers and good thoughts and pixie dust. Very scared and nervous but luckily there is Disney to concentrate on!

Our 99 day party is on Friday! We are so excited, have planned the whole day and a menu. I'll post pictures of the festivities on Saturday!! We can't wait!

I also owe you guys pictures from our last shopping trip and will try and post them on Saturday, too!!

I don't know that I'll have the right tests to tell us anything on the 26th but it will definitely be the first step on the right track!

We are so excited about the party. We just got back from shopping for our menu!

PS I am so very afraid that your paint chip total is bit low. If you don't grab at least double that, you might run out sometime within the next ten years!

First of all i wish you luck with your cancer thing. im sure everything will turn out ok. keep your head up and stay possitive .
Wow! you guys are at Double Digits ALREADY ( jealous) Its ok though ill be at that point in a Week i want to go NOW!! but i guess i can quit my job and retire to Disney .... yet LOL . anyways See ya there in Dec. BYE and See-ya-Real-soon

We are down in NC and I have finally gotten to a computer to check the Disboards and I see you have been very busy with the storm! It just seems to be socking Florida over and over.
I'm sorry to hear about your latest scare and your next trip to the doctor. I will be praying for a clean report for you.

99 DAY PARTY!!

We had a great time!! I have a bunch of pictures to show you all!

First I made our special drinks: Disneytinis! Sort of a Shirley Temple since neither of us drink alcohol. Ginger ale, grenadine, cheeries, a splash of my beloved Coca Cola in mine!! Served in Disney tumblers!!

We watched a couple of Disney Planning Videos. They are so much fun and just get you so much more excited, if that is possible!

Then we made our countdown poster!

DD made a shirt to wear on Uncle Walt's Birthday!!

For dinner I made chilled pasta salad with lots of fresh veggies, french fries, and the special thing we found at the Super Target:

I wasn't sure if they would be good or not (had some ground sirloin in the fridge, just in case) but they were really yummy! And fun to cook!! While we ate we watched "Freaky Friday" with Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan. What a great movie and sooo funny!!

For dessert:

We ate this years ago on a train trip from Ft. Lauderdale to Jacksonville. I can't begin to tell you how disgusting some of the flavors are!! DD conned me into eating sardine but I got her back with ...... vomit!!! It's good to stay a kid even if you're being obnoxious while doing it!!

We also had brownie's which were delicious and washed away the beans flavor!!

We really had a great time and now we're down to 98 days!!!

Now I know why my Home Depot was out of Mickey Ears when I went there last week ...

I just picked up the Minnie t-shirt for my DW and DD

(who - BTW - is running around the house buck-naked yelling "See my butt! See my butt!!" ... that's the DD is running - not the DW ... ... We're trying to get her into a bathing suit so we can go to the lake, but we're not having much luck ... and the DW's DS just called, so there goes another half-hour ... at least ... )

Anyway - the DW and DD will have at least one set of matching t-shirts, while I think the DD and I have at least three sets ...

Mickey Burgers!! I bought a couple of boxes for our family BBQ last weekend - they were a big hit (but the ears were a bit chewy ... )

Hope everything turns out all right with the doctor ...

The Mickey Burgers really were not bad at all! They had a good charbroiled taste. They were already fully cooked, which made me a little nervous, but they were good.

Those planning videos are so much fun! We have a really old VCR tape from the 90's!

However, I realized I booked an appointment with the wrong oncologist. I should have seen my oncologist surgeon instead of the chemo oncologist. So this might delay things. I can't believe I did that ... no, I can believe it!

We love those Mickey Burgers!!! Have you ever tried the Mickey shaped pizza and ravioli? Both are very good!

We had our 99 day party too!! (Usually we have a 100 day party but DH and DD16 had a Dive Rescue drill - they're on the local dive team.) We did chicken strips and fries. I used a Winnie the Pooh tablecloth and plates and cups. Then we played Pirates Life game.

I have a Mickey tablecloth and plates and cups too. We are going to use them for our night before dinner.


I love your DD's shirt!!! I think it's cool that we'll be there on Walt's birthday!

I'm still revising our plans - I called and added a late lunch at 50's Prime Time just last night!

I'm toying with the idea of doing a pre-trip report too. Maybe if I can get my thoughts together I'll try it.
