Trip Number Ten ~ We're Going Again! Plus a side trip!

Good morning everyone!! TWO DAYS!!!!

No revoking of the bestie card. Well unless you didn't come to my first born's wedding or something. Then I'd demand that you show your face in a public place and declare your friendship in an over the top manner.

Well, that would be justifiable.

Love all your new stuff. I love the Loft as well!

Only a couple of days now. Woohoo!!

Don't stress about the weather. You know it's only chances of rain.

And it definately doesn't feel like summer around here anymore. It's only 57 degrees here right now!! Can't wait for summer weather in a week and a half!! I can't believe I'll miss you by 3 days.

Yep - 2 days now!!

I'm not really stressing about the weather. It is what it is. I can't change it. I just hope it doesn't rain all day any of the days we are there!! That is miserable. I can deal with an afternoon thunderstorm.

It's still cold here. I don't even think we hit 70 yesterday. Crazy. It will probably get hot when school starts.

I guess that about sums up this TR! It's almost time to go!! Tomorrow!!


I'm excited and nervous at the same time! We are trying a lot of different things on this trip and there is so much unknown. Which make the planner in me a little anxious!

We are flying into Tampa for the first time (well, DH has flown into there once for work), so that is going to be new. We know the Orlando airport so well and this is going to be new, and hopefully not too challenging.

Along with that we will have to get our own bags when we get there. Boo - I love letting Disney get our checked luggage. Such a time and hassle saver!

And we are renting a car from the airport – no Magical Express. We will definitely miss that. For us, that is when our vacation officially begins – when we sit down on the ME bus!!

Driving from Tampa to Clearwater and then from Clearwater to Disney World. That is a lot of driving in what is mostly an unfamiliar area to us.

The whole beach part of the vacation is very new to us. Hoping it all goes well and we don't end up regretting giving up 2 days at WDW for it.

Once we get to WDW there will be plenty of new experiences there as well! The YC is new to us. A little nervous about that. Especially considering that our BC experience wasn't the best. Hoping for the best! We know we love the BW area and we will be just a short walk away!

Doing a WDW Waterpark is new to us!! Not sure how that day will go or how long we will end up staying there. But the tickets were free and hopefully we will have a good time!

And as you know, we are trying at least 3 new WDW restaurants! Be Our Guest, Il Mulino, and Chef's de France! And we will likely be trying at least 1-2 new CS places at the Swan/Dolphin and probably something at Typhoon Lagoon.


So even though this is our tenth trip to WDW, as you can see there are still plenty of new things to experience!! Like I said, I'm a little nervous, but very excited!!!

I am so excited for you! I can't wait to hear how the boys like the beach. Although my DH said that the gulf coast is calmer than the east coast so he thinks you might not see to much of a difference than the Great Lakes.
I do hope they LOVE it!!! I love living near the ocean. I'm going to the beach today, my second day this week. it is heaven.

If you like Mac & cheese, Chefs has the best mac& cheese ever!! I also LOVE the French onion soup, although that could be an acquired taste for some. I grew up eating that.

We are going to try to get to TL next time.

Now, in order for it to be a truly real FOF, you must run around the house at least three times checking luggage, (bonus points if you pull everything out and repack it twice), and then run and open your purse four times making sure your license is in there, then run back to the luggage and once again to the purse. Then you'll be set until tomorrow when you get to do it one last time before leaving!

I have been really busy lately, so I haven't been posting as much - but I have been reading along and hope you guys have the best time on this trip! Don't worry about the beach. Just try to relax and enjoy the serenity.

My favorite thing is walking the beach at night and listening to the waves. It's so relaxing and peaceful.

Can't wait to hear all about it when you get back and see the pictures!

I have heard that Chef's french onion soup is very good. Just not sure I'll be in the mood for soup when it's so hot!!

It's here!!!! ~~ Freak Out Friday ~~




Haven't freaked out too much yet. The furnace/AC guys are here servicing the system. So I am remaining calm. Once they leave all bets are off!!!

And believe me, I am tempted to unpack and repack! I feel like I am forgetting something and I am running out of room in the luggage.

Thanks for the reminder! I had DS set a reminder on his Ipod. I've been so afraid I would forget because we usually have a super early flight, so I can usually print the boarding passes as soon as I get up the day before. We have a late morning flight this time. It's almost time!!

Our BC experience left a lot to be desired. The room was very dirty and the balcony was dirty and sticky. Even after asking to have it all cleaned several times, it was still pretty nasty. Our showerhead didn't work right, there hair dryer didn't work (the 3rd one they brought me finally did), just a lot of little things. Not to mention SAB being a complete madhouse of noise all the time. It just wasn't a very pleasant overall experience. And when we asked to be moved to the Poly they wanted to charge us something like $880+ for the last 3 nights on our trip. We finally gave up. I wrote in when we got back and told of the lack of response and showed pictures of the room. We ended up being comped for one night and then given 2 free nights for future use.

Very hopeful for a clean room and a good experience this time!!
