It looks like you guys had a great trip as usual. I can't wait to go to WDW to see the Christmas decorations someday. So pretty!

Over. It's all over. Waaaaaah!!!

It's so not fair that it takes a bazillion days to plan the trip and only a few to make it come to an abrupt end.

We all need to be bazillionaires so we can vacation there all the time and then retire next door to WDW with cute little houses with welcoming front porches with ferns and rocking chairs just begging for a visit from friends.

sigh.
The boys looked totally thrilled to be heading home.

I'm so glad that you had a really wonderful time at the Poly and were able to experience it one last time before they tear it all to heck and back.

So on the scale-- where does this vacation rank compared to all the others? And do you think you'll ever go back during the Christmas season again? I know the answer to that question for myself-- just wondering what your thoughts are on it.

Hey Shelly, Just got back from our latest trip to Disney. I'm having post-Disney blues. It's always sad when you have to leave Disney and head back to the "real" world. At least you have another trip coming up soon!

The trip was great! Hunter turned 16 on May 24th at the Magic Kingdom which was open 24 hours. We stayed at French Quarter one night and then changed to the CBR for our package. We did visit quite a few resorts to get a feel for possible future stays. Next trip will be a whole two weeks and I can't wait for it to get here!

Leaving early on the last day does stink!! But it always seems to be the best deal on flights.

We were totally bummed that morning!! It's so hard to leave WDW anyway, and then leaving the Poly is the worst.

We've never stayed at the CR... I'd like to someday, but something tells me that I won't be able to choose it over the Poly when we are doing a monorail resort trip!

Yes, if we were all just independently wealthy and could go to WDW every other month!! Wouldn't that be the life?!

Hmm...where does this vacation rank??? Well that's a tough one. I know it wasn't the best for you guys, but it was pretty good for us. Not the best, but still very good. I was very worried that the Poly would be a bust and not live up to how awesome it was the first time, but it was so great. So that had a lot to do with it I'm sure!

Well, French Quarter is definitely out. It looked and felt too much like home which is what she were afraid of. Art of Animation is out unless we were going to stay in a suite and that's probably never going to happen. Coronado, believe it or not, looked pretty appealing. Animal Kingdom Lodge was amazing! The Poly was gorgeous. Contemporary is out. Wilderness Lodge was pretty but, again, it looks like home since we live in a log house in the semi-woods. I'm not really sure where we'll end up next year. I guess our pocketbook will guide the way to our two week trip.
