Yes, that is a benefit of the kids getting older. And I love that there are great restaurants right at the resorts so we can get right back to the room if needed.

LOVE 'Ohana!!
I think that was a perfect restaurant for your last night and while it isn't a typical "date night" romantic dining experience, it is fun and the food is worth it.

You looked so cute! Love the dress and flips--- so adorable! I really like the pic of you two standing on the stairs landing.

Our experience this time at 'Ohana was the best we'd ever had there. The server was awesome, the food was perfect and with all of my allergies and such- the chef was wonderful to work with. I was completely floored by the attentiveness of them all.

I of course didn't eat the dessert but M said that the bread pudding wasn't as good as it has been in the past. I wonder if they've tweaked it somehow and it's just not the same?

A date night at O'hana... it doesn't get any better than that! After all the restaurants we've tried, this one is still our favorite. My only complaint is that it's just too much food! I hate to see it wasted, and it always is because who can eat all that. But it is so good! Glad you enjoyed your evening. Being within walking distance of O'hana has to be about the best reason to stay at the Poly imo!

Hello to my favorite co-worker!! How's the TA business treating you?? I was really busy at first and then it slowed down a lot and is now picking back up some.

Ohana is WAY too much food!! I hate to see food wasted too. But yes, it was all very good and a very nice time. A definite plus to staying at the Poly!

After DH and I left Ohana we strolled back to the room to get the kids.

DS11 wanted one last Dole Whip, so we went to Captain Cook's.

Then headed out to the beach.

DH had gone up to the room for something, so the kids and I were messing around!

And pretty soon there was a creeper in the background of the pic!!

Then we just hung out and tried to make the evening drag on as long as possible. We even watched most of Brave on the movie screen!

Eventually we had to go back up to the room and get things packed up for our departure the next morning.

After everything was packed up and the kids were tucked into bed watching TV I spend a little time on the balcony.

And I took a few videos. I just wanted to always have this memory of our perfect room and all the cool sounds from it!
