Sorry this one has been so long in coming, back at work after month off with foot so not so much free time, anyway the holiday adventure continues………

FRIDAY 22ND NOVEMBER 2002 PART 18

Up a bit later today at 7.30 and after a read of paper got ready and got to the ponderosa for 9 ish. We then drove onto IOA and after the long trek the other day both agreed to pay the few extra dollars for preferred parking. There was a fairly big queue to get into the car park today. Although the parking is nearer it is still quite a hike but felt due to the volume of traffic before us we would have been further parked away than the visit to Universal so probably worth it in the long run.

No problems getting into IOA and headed straight over to the Hulk for Daves first rollercoaster of the day. He was caught very out with the very fast start to this ride and loved it so much he rode it a couple of more times before we left the park.

We then strolled on through the park with dave going on Spiderman he didn’t say too much about this except I wouldn’t of liked it. We then headed on over to the ripshaw water ride and although whilst waiting for Dave it looked fairly tame, he came off literally soaked from head to foot. All he would say was a surprise at the bottom of the ride……walked on round to Jurassic via the unicorns and the duelling dragons which had the biggest queue of the day. Dave went on the Jurassic ride but somehow we manged to miss out the rest of Jurassic so will have to do that in 2005. We then strolled back through Seuess landing which was very busy and lo and behold snowing as well. After another go on the Hulk we went back to the Doomfall but after several mins of watching the ride Dave decided against going on it. We had a look around the shops and stopped for a drink and a snack.

We had a look in the shops on the way back to the car. Headed back to hotel for a rest before going to Burger King for tea. Got a very naughty piece of chocolate fudge cake from the deli for later. Had an easy evening in preparation for the day at MK and Epcot fireworks tomorrow.

THOUGHTS. Neither of us were over impressed with IOA as not too many rides available without motion sickness also we thought the park looked a bit tacky and agreed that we both preferred universal. Still think they need to do something about that very long walk. Weather today was 70 with good sun and a brisk wind.

Great Alison.

Even though we do all the rides at IOA - I am never that impressed with it :)

Really like IOA and US but your right they really need to do something about the walk in.
