I'm headed to WDW for LDW with my best friend and her daughter. Below is our proposed itinerary - would love any advice/guidance on park choices (we bought park hopper and have G+ for the entire time).

9/2 (Friday)- get in at 4 - MK for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party
9/3 (Saturday) - Rope drop Epcot w/ ETPE to do Frozen, see what else we can get on w/o G+ or once the 120 min rule expires, switch to HS after 2:00 PM - first G+ reservation aiming to be Slinky Dog in the late afternoon
9/4 (Sunday) - Magic Kingdom all day (rope drop thunder mtn or Peter Pan, first G+ for Splash, buy LL for Mine Train)
9/5 (Monday) - Animal Kingdom until we have to leaver around 3 PM (maybe rope drop Safari once that actually opens, first G+ for Navi)

Any thoughts or tips are much appreciated!

How old is the daughter? I only ask because of my DD12. We had an ambitious plan last trip with us closing down MK and doing rope drop the next morning and it got a bit ugly. We both thought she would be fine but she was tired. If you stay until MNSSHP closes you won't be back in your room until 1 am or so. Then up at 7 am or earlier for RD.

Other than it looks good to me!

My friends daughter is 4. She insists that she'll just take naps in the stroller midday - but I think it all likelihood I will stay later at the parks by myself (but maybe not all the way until midnight!) when they need to go back so she can sleep!

I agree Halloween party to rope drop is pretty brutal, even for adults.

I'd think about ending the trip with the Monday Halloween party, if it works in the schedule. It's a fun way to close it out.

Unfortunately we already bought flights and tix to the Halloween party - so that part is locked in. I was hoping that maybe an Epcot rope drop wouldn't be as bad - but it does look like Epcot opens earlier now.

That's a lot of rope dropping with a 4 year old. Your friend knows her daughter best and if she will/won't nap but as long as ya'll are prepared for it to go south, you should be fine. When our kids were that age, it was expect the worst and anything better than that was a win. If you're fine doing things on your own, than it's all totally doable.

At MK, if you do want to do Jungle Cruise, you should make that your first G+ since that G+ is usually gone early. If not, your choice of Splash is great. Epcot does open early on RD days and the line for Frozen for ETPE isn't too bad. We did that on our last trip and bought iLL$ for Remy. We did not have G+ for Epcot/AK.

For Epcot, I would recommend trying to get G+ for Soarin, Test Track. For rides that you likely won't need G+, def check out Turtle Talk with Crush, it's a hit for a 4yo and also the Seas with Nemo. Also Guardians of the Galaxy opened and not sure you could do that with your friend's daughter but if you want to ride it, it's a virtual queue; not G+.
