We had a wonderful time on our vacation. I thought the parks were extremely crowded. We attended the MVMCP on 11/20 (sold out), and I thought it was extremely crowded. The lines for any character meet and greets were at least 2 hours. Although, the ride lines were shorter. I guess you give and take! The campsite was great, we had a few customer service issues that we didn't expect - especially at Disney. But, all in all, I think there is no longer a "low-crowd" time. Once a low crowd time is determined, Disney comes along and offers things like free dining to pick the crowds back up again. Wonder why premium campsites don't qualify for free dining? Anyway, despite the rain and cold, the less that expected customer service, and the more than expected crowd level -- our family trip was magical. I'm learning more and more that it really depends on who you're with, not where you are that makes your vacation amazing.
PS... highly recommend the wagon ride -- there is an awesome view of the castle from the swamp trail that the wagon ride takes you to! (In all of our Fort Wilderness trips, this was our first wagon ride)
