Trip is getting closer and a little apprehensive about AKV

what nightime activities did you enjoy at the resort (aside from night vision goggles)?

There are a lot of things going on there. There are story areas where the African students assigned to the Lodge tell about their country etc. I attended several of those, and I could have spent the entire trip just walking to the different savannas watching the animals on each. There are 3 savannas, and they all have different animals on them. I think I appreciated them even more after doing the sunset safari. The sunrise and sunset safaris are SO worth it!
