Trip Insurance help!

This past year I used Access America and paid $205. For a cheaper trip for next year, they are quoting me $1381.00!!!!

Anyone have any helpful hints for me? Can I get a better rate if I am a member of an association?

I used insuremytrip.com and went with CSA Web Direct. It seemed to have everything I need and I paid $136 for four of us on the Wonder in February.

I was mostly interested in being able to cancel in the event one of us or an immediate family member is ill prior to the trip and medical evacuation, which can be VERY expensive.

I had the same type of quote when I went to Access America - If you use insuremytrip.com, somewhere on there you can "view all plans" (they only provide the "best" upfront) and Travelex Lite should be listed - many people have purchased from them and I've heard no negative reviews. It was about $160 I believe for the trip

I paid $93 for our trip on the Magic in August for the 4 of us. I went to www.accessamerica.com/aaa On the website I wasn't able to get the kids for free, but when I called them the kids were free.

I went to the AccessAmerica.com/aaa and was quoted a GREAT rate. You really need the /aaa to get the kids free. They did show up on the quote sheet as free.

I will book with them when I'm ready.

I am a AAA member ,but I don't recall them asking me my AAA card number when I booked, I booked over the phone.

Thanks for the info. I called Access America and got a quote of $ $293 for myself and 3 kids. When I told her that I am a member of AAA, the kids were free, and the rate was lowered to $123.00!
