I would love CRT or Chef Mickeys, but I'm just calling today. Any hope? Any tips? Any other restaurants?

Those are 2 very popular places so it's probably a long shot, but you never know. I would keep checking up until the time you go as well as while you're there as people do cancel all the time. The chances of you getting in are slim, but I wouldn't give up hope.....you never know :wizard:.

Doesn't hurt to keep checking online. I got a Le Cellier reservation yesterday and I leave in 11 days.

Keep checking several times a day on the May board on Dis and on Disney reservation page. Yesterday I saw a CRT for breakfast sometime during the first week of May. This morning I picked up a Le Cellier lunch for May 5. Now I'm hoping to get a Cali Grill dinner. Keep checking and you might very well find it. Also when you gett to Disney call reservations every day. Many people cancel while on vacation.

Yup, keep trying.. I started booking just two weeks ago, and we leave in less than two weeks.. I was able to get CM, CRT, and Garden Grill and lots more..

When is your trip? I'm 99% sure that I will cancel Chef Mickey's on 5/16 at 7:50 pm.. makes me a little sad lol, but now that I have reservations for Garden Grill that same day, it will work better. PM me if interested, and we can set a time for me to cancel and you can grab it.

Good luck!

If you don't have it it might be worth trying to pick up a garden grill in case you cant get chef mickey. There are a bunch opened today.... who knows why :confused3 But I'm not complaining! Was so excited to get it! :worship:

We cant get Chef Mickey for dates in Sept! (at least at a reasonable hour.. dont think the kids will last till 830 for dinner) The CM i spoke to on the phone said to call the day we arrive because people cancel last minute that we could even call every morning... may be worth a shot for you to try the route. Good Luck!

You can also check when your there. You would be really surprised how many reservations open up last minute.

Two weeks ago I was able to pick up LeCellier for lunch on the morning that we decided, since it was raining, we were going to Epcot.

We showed up at Chef Mickey's and Ohana a few weeks ago and got into both places only waiting about a half hour. But as others said, keep checking. We also scored a same day Le Cellier ressie, so it definitely happens...:thumbsup2

Well, I got in to CM. Its a 7 am slot but oh well! I figure that will allow us to get to rope drop at any park that day. I actually had another one open up for the same day,Monday 5/9, but it was at 9:40 and I passed it up b/c it would pretty much ruin any morning touring for that day and its early on in our trip. I also got Akershus lunch! I'm excited that we will get to do a princess meal. I am going to keep trying in case I can get Cindys but I am happy I got both the meals I wanted.

I like Akershus better. I only go for breakfast at both - I'm picky. You will get photos with Belle instead of Cinderella. If you are on the DDP then you save a credit also as Akershus is only 1TS credit.

Thanks for the tip. I'm going to keep trying for breakfast but keeping my lunch if not. I'd rather have Belle than nothing!

I agree with Aukerhaus. We did a late breakfast that pretty much acted as a brunch for us. We hit Epcot at opening on an EMH day and by 10:30 were ready for a break. Five princesses, a royal castle.. what's not to love?

Also, take a look at dinner at 1900 Park Fare with Cinderella and the stepsisters. It's hugely entertaining, and the whole crew stops by for photos and autographs.

I did it! I got Cindy's breakfast, chef mickeys, crystal palace! With tenacity it can be done two weeks before a trip!

That's great! See---it worked!

I'm really optimistic about getting reservations. I swear, it just works out.
Have a fantastic vacation.
