Trip for Two

Hi! My hubby and I are discussing the possibility of taking a trip just the two of us, leaving our darling 3 children at home. We would like it to be fairly economical.

We've done WDW twice and absolutely loved it. (with the children, of course!) We thought about taking a trip to DL, but would it still be wonderful before the 50th celebration...what would be open? closed? would it still be as magical?

Any thoughts? Should we wait until this fall to visit?

If at all possible I would wait until after the 50th kicks off. There are about 5 rides down at any given time for referbishment, and there are a lot of tarps and fences up right now. In terms of what is open and what is closed, it keeps changing. You can count on Space Mountain being closed though. They are really under the gun trying to get everything clean and sparkley by May. I'm sure you would have a great time, but I don't think it would be as magical for you.
