So, on a whim, just after Thanksgiving, we called and booked a short trip for President's Day weekend. We will be there Saturday thru Tuesday. Enough time to enjoy going back to Disney, getting our toes wet in the Disney water, and then counting down the days until we head back for our weeklong vacation in May and June.

However, there is a serious disadvantage to own DVC and being able to take multiple trips in a year.

CONFUSION.

LOL!

For Febuary I have not made any ADR's. If we feel like waiting, then we will wait. I don't have an itenerary, and just feel our trip is too short to plan out anything. Any extras we need (namely food) we will pay out of pocket, and I may even try this "going off the property" thing.

However in May/June I have planned a Princess breakfast for our daughter (she loved the Princesses last year) and have booked my birthday dinner at Le Cellier. I also have a ressie at O'Hana. Since we are staying at BCV, I have also told the hubster that we must slow down, and allow our daughter to have time at Stormalong Bay as well as doing something one night at AKL when we move over there (split stay).

However, when I plan for our upcoming trip (like what snacks to pack, what to take along). I keep getting my details mixed up.

LOL! I guess if this is a DVC side effect, at least it's slightly a good one.

Anyone else have this happen?

I wish I had this problem... I have just enough points for a 5 day stay in October/November. Of course, I usually have a 2 bedroom because I always have extra family with me so I guess my inability to have this problem is caused by my own extravagence:rolleyes1. Go with it and make lists and lists and lists... Enjoy:dance3:

We just joined last year and got a 4 day cruise, so we are taking that in Nov. Of course, I want to add on days in the parks before hand. We wer at SSR from 12/8-12/15, and I booked a week long trip for May 10 while there. Since we came home, I changed it to 6/11-6/19 when the kids are out of school. Additionally, I have changed resorts twice. UGH!!! Not usually liek that.

My professional life is a mess right now, and there are also some family issues. All of that makes me want to live at Disney where my hardest decision is which park to visit...

Hi! We are having the confusion problem now, too! We are leaving for our first DVC trip on Feb 10, 5 nights at BLT.:cool1: We are also planning a summer trip with friends of ours! We are wait-listed for BCV and deciding where to book as our second choice. I keep getting confused as to which trip we are working on.....What a nice problem to have.........We really do have a good life:cloud9:

Oh please, that only happens to me all the time.

Last month I had two trips scheduled 3 weeks apart. The first one with my entire family (3 families plus me = 17 people). The second one less than a week after Christmas for New Year's. Thank goodness I have so many friends down there visiting Disney is more like visiting my 2nd home.

When you return enough times you get to know the people and stake out your corner of the world. Then it'll be routine for you. Just remember to pinch yourself a couple times so you know how lucky you are. Most people do not get to travel to Disney more than once or twice a lifetime.

So true, we are very lucky. We have been DVC members since 1992, my 3 year old grand daughter has been to WDW 5 times already.

If the trip is longer, I will sometimes make an ADR for a restaurant that I really want to go to(BOMA). For those last minute, shorter trips.....we fly by the seat of our(ever tightening)pants! :thumbsup2
