I am trying to plan a trip for April or May, but for a number of reasons I have yet to book a date. I am so anxious that by the time we sort this all out I will not be able to score any ADR's or Fastpass+ passes. Is there any hope at all?

You may not be able to reserve the most popular restaurants at this point, but I'm sure several will still be available. As long as you can book your FP+ 60 days in advance you should be fine. Depending on what attractions you want, you won't necessarily need 60 days. You can always arrive early to the parks and try to beat the crowds if you don't have a FP for something.

Thanks. I'm hoping for 50's PTC and the Aukershaus breakfast. Thank goodness we don't need BOG!

If you don't get a reservation for 50s you can always take your chances at the bar there. It is just as fun and we have never had an issue.

I was also going to suggest that several places have nice bar areas that are easy to get seats for one or two people. I love 50's Prime Time Cafe and Yak and Yeti has a wonderful bar area. With one or two people, it is pretty easy to score some nice places without having to have ADR's.

SSR has a beautiful patio area called the Turf Club. Over at DTD, RFC and RR has a very large one - both serve their full menu.

I've been able to book ADR's from a week to the night before with no problem. You just have to be more flexible on locations/times.

I can honestly say I have not had an issue of booking ADRs, I agree you have to be flexible a little but I got into every place I wanted to for my trip in May and I just made the last one yesterday. sometimes you get lucky and someone has a cancellation and you can swoop down and get it. but you really shouldn't have too much trouble getting into most places. Good luck!!

You should be fine! Take what times are available and keep checking back for openings.

Relax your are going to WDW. Even if you do not get what you want, you can always come again.
I have never made an ADR. You can always just walk up and get put on the wait list, to get what you want.

I'll be going to MK on a 7/10 crowd day, didn't start planning till about 30 days out. The only thing I am locked out of are the big three: BOG, A&E, and 7DMT. The only thing I was vaguely interested in was BOG, but that was psychological mostly (I only wanted to go there because I can't, and I'm already over it).

First off - You can go on the Disney website now and look for ADRs for the dates you're considering, and get a feel for what's available. In fact, go on and look at dates for the next week or so, and you'll see how many places still have "last minute" availability. And as a PP said, people cancel reservations all the time. If there's one thing I've learned on the Dis, it's that if you're looking for an elusive ADR or FP+, don't give up, just keep looking, and you might get lucky!

I bet you'll be able to get plenty of good FP+, too, if you're a party of just one or two - and again, if there's one you want that's not available, keep looking.
