She was not pregnant. The baby was born in July.It was suicide. Poor lady was pregnant and recently married. Without telling her family she booked a flight to Orlando and disappeared, they had been looking for her. She was reportedly a Disney ‘super fan’. Very sad mental health issues that cause a person to go to these extremes, but they are not processing things normally.
My thoughts exactly. And don't get on the monorail either.I'm sorry, but if this is your mindset, then don't get on an airplane, or in a car, etc. This is a bit much.
She was not pregnant. She would have either already had the baby or she miscarried. She announced the pregnancy in December 2024. For her to have a sonogram where the baby could be seen, she would have been 6-7 weeks at that time of announcement. This is 10-11 months later. It was suicide. I am thinking this person suffers with a form of thanatophobia or necrophobia. It is completely irrational to us, but to person with a mental illness/anxiety, I suppose that is a normal response.I'm sorry, but if this is your mindset, then don't get on an airplane, or in a car, etc. This is a bit much.
Newspaper reports said she was, so dunno. She was not pregnant. She would have either already had the baby or she miscarried. She announced the pregnancy in December 2024. I don't disagree that the national suicide hotline is a good resource. Please feel free to post that number here as it could be helpful to someone.I’m not sure that “thoughts and prayers” will actually help anyone nor is what they “need”.
This is of course just my belief, as I feel it is important to talk about and direct people toward resources available for themselves or loved ones. Resources to assist with identifying things before they get to a point of no return. Help is out there and the national suicide hotline is one of those resources.

FWIW... you don't really have a right to tell a surviving family member what is "appropriate or meaningful" as support. The family is left with grief. Resources are helpful, but too late to help their loved one at this point.I don’t believe “thoughts and prayers” is an appropriate or meaningful form of support.
Agree! Most people find it difficult to deal with death, and are not sure what to say to someone who is dealing with the loss. At least expressing "thoughts and prayers" acknowledges the loss, it's a start for someone who may not know exactly what to say.FWIW... you don't really have a right to tell a surviving family member what is "appropriate or meaningful" as support. Thank you for sharing the links.
While this would not deter me from staying at the Contemporary, I totally understand your point of view.![]()
