In one year, we will be hosting a small family gathering in a GV and 1bd at SSR. We are looking for an adult dinner for eight at a restaurant that is fun, not too expensive, but not loud and crazy. My DH and I love Bluezoo, but we along for the ride are my parents and my cousin's parents (sibling pairs). The "Grandparents" are in their sixties, have been to Disney a lot and are not impressed easily. They are also amazingly cheap, although both have plenty of money. They are interested in value/experience, but since we are getting a sitter, we are looking for a bit quieter than a kid place.
My cousin and her parents have not been to Disney since EPCOT opened, so don't remember much. My parents have been there with us many times and have eaten many places. We've done WCC, CG, Coral Reef, all the usual suspects. I'd love to do Bluezoo and then Jellyrolls, and we just might, but am looking for new ideas? Anyone?
Now, another question... what about a kid friendly place for everyone? This would qualify as a Magical Gathering, as there will be 13 of us. What about O'Hana? My aunt and uncle love Hawaii, but my aunt also loves to complain, so I am thinking I shouldn't go to the Poly, since she'll just tell us how much better Hawaii is....
I really, really want this to be a fun, memorable trip and everyone is letting me do the planning. I am not worried that they will blame me for anything, but I want to really wow them.
Come on Disers, whatta got?
