Hi All, I was just wondering if the rides are open at CA during the trick or treat party?? Wasn't sure so just thought I would check. Thanks in advance.:goodvibes

some of the rides are. I know CS was as well as TSM. GRR was not. we were there on the 17th but only rode CS and TSM.

Soarin', ToT, Mulholland Madness, Monsters, Orange Stinger, Zephyr, Jumpin' Jellyfish, Carousel were all open. Maliboomer wasn't.

Thank you for all the great replies, was mainly interested in California Screamin and TOT, and it sounds like both of those are open, can't wait!!!:goodvibes

Does anyone know if Toy Story Mania is open during the party??:goodvibes

I think I answered my own question, I think the first poster after mine said it was, sorry. Its late, I need to get to bed so I can get up early and off to CA. Thanks again for all the help.:goodvibes

Yes, it is.
And the line is long, very long.
So, we skipped it cause there was just too much other fun stuff going on everywhere else. The one other thing that we didn't do due to the super long line was the photo shoot with Mickey & Minnie. But we got three other photos with princesses and villians.:thumbsup2

Have a great time!

We were lucky we got in the park around 6:45pm, we headed to the back stopping to get some candy and hit TSMM with a 10 minute line, when we got off the ride we saw the line had doubled. I think if you get back there VERY early you will not hit long lines. The rest of the night the line was 30minutes.

We went last night and had a blast!

We did not skip TSMM during the TOTP. In fact, we figured the line would be shorter at night during the party than during the day because not as many people were in the park at that time. In any case, the line was no longer than it is for any other popular ride. It was nothing out of the ordinary. And actually, seeing that it is a brand new ride which is extremely popular, I think the line is pretty decent compared to what I expected it to be. (I remember when Star Tours first opened in 1987, and the line was all the way down Main Street - now THAT is a long line!) It was about 25 minutes or so, and it moves fast. When I think "long line," I think Nemo or Indiana Jones or Splash Mountain. This TSMM line - on our TOTP night, which was October 3 - was nothing that intimidating. And the TOTP was very crowded in other areas, so we felt we could slip away and get onto TSMM while people were doing other things in DCA. I think it all depends on what you consider a long line to be, and what you are willing to stand in line for. We have waited longer than that to get on the Storybookland Canal Boats before, so this seemed fine to us! And it is worth it to us because we love the ride!
