Having booked directly through Disney, and with a check-in date at one of the four dog-friendly resorts in a couple of weeks, I still have not received notification from Disney of this change in policy. I found out about the change from this thread.
What about guests who are not active on social media and only find out when they see non-service dogs around the resort or hear barking that was never experienced in past stays?
Disney needs to get their act together.
