Trex

We did the sister restaurant RFC with peanut allergies and they are very good. It was handled as well as any WDW owned establishment and better than some.

Milk and peanut are among my son's allergies, they have menu items he can have.
My only caution is to watch out if you go for dessert. They offered to give my 4 year old a kid version of sorbet... they brought out the adult one which was huge and cost as much as his meal. When we questioned it they shrugged it off because they dont offer a kid version. I want to say it was a $7 or $8 item and to top it off he didnt even like it.

We just got back from our WDW trip and had our first experience with Trex. I can say they were great with my food allergies. As soon as I said I had an allergy the server got the chief to come over. The chief did a great job adjusting the food offered to meet my needs. I am highly allergic to onions and he was able to make changes to some of the menu items so I could enjoy them with my family. As will all of the restaurants I have tried on WDW property the chief when above what I would expect to make sure I got something I would enjoy. This is one of the reasons I love coming to WDW I love having the chance to try foods that I could never try at a restaurant back home because the chiefs are never as accommodating as the Disney chiefs are.

I haven't eaten at T-Rex but we have gone to Rain Forest a few times. Yes they talked the talk on allergies but both visits I received items I was allergic to that should not have been on the plate (I didn't eat them) and I also had mild reactions to something in the food that wasn't disclosed to me. I personally have been avoiding the Landry's restaurants since then-RFC, Yak and Yeti, and Trex. Like a previous poster mentioned if they make an adjustment for you based on allergies even if it's equivalent we had an upcharge. Like having salad greens instead of fries on my plate I was charged for my entree AND a salad even though it was not anything close to the full salad. I don't have a problem with the charges as long as they tell you ahead of time so you can decide which they don't. If I was going to be charged for a whole salad I would have preferred getting the whole salad.
