I joined the Rainforest Cafe Safari Club 2 years ago in always comes in handy with the discounts and priority seating. Plus every so often they email me coupons for $10.00 off a meals and different types of deals. Believe me after seeing how long the wait can be at these places it pays for itself lol.

If you are a member of mypoints or other reward sites like that you can get gift cards there. Other than the safari club, I don't know of any coupons though.

I had the Rainforst Cafe Safari Club card that I had not used in years and I called them and I was told that I needed to pay $5.00 to have a new card sent to me because I saw that I could use it at TRex.I didn't think that I was still in the system,but I was and they did send me another card and she also told me over the phone that it would indeed work for TREX.When we got to TREX the line was REALLY LONG and when I asked about the card to one of the people working outside,they took down my name and info from the card and told me that I would get it quicker because of the card.They were correct and inside the waitress told me how I could use the card (several different ways) and she took the card when we ordered and gave it back in a few minutes and they took off a percentage from the bill (that's what I wanted,not the other offerings).We don't have any of the places that the card works at anywhere near where I live,but I will keep it up to date because it was worth the $5.00 to me.Also on line you can go to several places that offer coupons for the other places that take this card.

Is there ANY way, other than to go to a BandMortar Rainforest Cafe to sign up for Safari Club??? Who in the world is near one?? The closest one to us IS in Orlando and that's 11 hours...

I joined in the Safari Club in the restaurant and they gave me a temp card to use that day and the rest of my trip.

The website says you have to go to the restaurant to join the safari club. When we joined, we were able to get the discount immediately on our meal.

do you have to eat there when you join and how much does it cost? I can get to a rainforest cafe (in a mall about 45 minutes away) before our trip but not sure it is worth it? don't really want to eat there before the trip.

Yes u can definitely buy the safari club card and not eat there, you request the card at the hostess stand and pay at gift shop. I'm not sure about current price since I had mine for 7 years and paid 15.00. I actually would recommend getting before u go, because they will send u a $10 cert. in the mail, which may be better than the standard free app up $8.99/10% of your food bill for up to 4 people. The card never expires as long as u use it 1 a year,so worth the price to us. I always use my safari club card, 50.00 gift card from mypoints for a super fun, cheap dinner at DTD.

If you are planning on APs, you can get 10% off at both places. If you have children, Rainforest's website has printable reward calendars that make kids' meal only .99 when completed. Thought it may help anyway.

I going in a week and a half and am planning on using these coupons at the Animal Kingdom rainforest cafe. Has anyone used them there? Just want to make sure there are no resrictions

From what I read on the website, you sign up in a restaurant and you get a temp card right there. Then 6-8 weeks later they will mail you your permanent card, member packet and a $10 new member award certificate that's good to use towards food or purchases at the gift shop. HTH
