We should be getting our dates in about 3 weeks!!!

MAW said my dad going should not be a problem. He would have to pay his own way which he is fine doing. Just have to wait for an approval from GKTW and MAW said that shouldn't be a problem but they have to ask anyway.

Yay!! We are getting SO excited. Pray that Trev's tests don't show signs of needing surgery right now! We will get results of the tests mid February.

Thanks!! We are SO excited that after almost 7 months we will FINALLY be getting our dates! Hopefully just a couple more weeks and we will know when we are going!

Thanks for the prayers! We greatly appreciate them! Trev is doing well "practicing" on the bike we rented. Hopefully everything will turn out well with the stress test and MRI and we still have a few more years before he needs a pulmonary valve and conduit! Waiting is the hardest part!

We found out today that my Dad gets to stay at GKTW with us! He still has to pay his own way there and for his own park tickets but that is fine. He was surprised when we told him he could stay with us and he doesn't have to worry about staying at a hotel now The kids are super excited that Grandpa is coming too!

We are still waiting on dates but that is okay... We have been waiting 7 months for SWW dates to be announced and now that we have we know that the wait won't be that much longer!

Trev is stressed out about his upcoming cardio tests. He missed school yesterday because his tummy hurt. After spending most of the day in bed he decided it didn't hurt that bad anymore We keep reminding him of his upcoming trip and that seems to help.

Kara's post op appt is next week and we will find out more info then about how many more surgeries to expect.

I hope his appoint goes well and he finds some peace and comfort before the appointment. Sorry his belly was nervous about going.

We can't tell my son about blood work, doctor appointments, day trips, etc until the day of anymore. He knows those things are upcoming, but we can't give him the heads-up beyond that. He threw up the whole morning before his Grinch play because of nerves. He won't go to sleep the night before blood work or appointments. His next neuro visit is Tuesday.

I hope Kara's visit goes well too.

Oh, my goodness! BRING MONEY! I arrived at the world yesterday and the FIRST thing I saw in the store was a WHOLE Endcap full of Disney Star Wars action figures. Instantly thought of Trevor! I'll try to remember to get a photo for you.

Our som was a NICU kid too...10 days (and I was at a different hospital too...with a c-section)...thankfully he hasnt had any problems since he was about 6 months and they say no future problems...but of course this momma will always worry.

Anyway I was searching for trip reports from last years star wars weekend when I came across your PTR. I are booked at disney from June 7-15. The last weekend of Star Wars weekend. And leaving on DS last day of school...flights actullay worked out where I have to pull him out of school at like 11:30 (so dont think it evn counts as a day...oh well)...

We also watched starwars on new years eve...that is when I realized how into star wars DS was. He became interested when angry bird star wars came out. And silly me I thought it was just an angry bird thing but he was totally into the movie on new years eve. I showed him pics from disney and told him about jedi training and he was totally sold. Although he still doesnt know about the trip...not sure if I will surprise him or not but df. not telling him now cause I will hear every day "Mom are we going to disney tomorrow?" and I am not answering that questions everday for the next 20 weeks...lol

OH and my sister is joining us (Hubby would rather work then go to disney lol silly man) and DS who will turn 6 in April.

So if you end up with the last weekend we could run into each other.

I wish Trev's cardiologist could somehow tell me about these extra tests so Trev doesn't hear... Especially when the are weeks out! I hope everything goes well with the neuro visit!

Thanks for the heads up! i hope they still have stuff when we get there. Not sure of dates yet but it looks like June 1st! We are saving the kids Christmas money and birthday money so they will have some spending money there. Can't wait to see the pics!

Glad you are joining in! We are not sure of dates yet, but it looks like we may arrive on June 1st as that is a date our wish grantor was saying earlier this week but no confirmed dates yet. Hopefully by the end of the month we will know!

Trev loves Angry Birds Star Wars too. Anything to do with Star Wars and Trev loves it! In fact his sisters love SW also... They like to pretend the storm troopers are the princes to their princesses

I think my hubby wouldn't mind staying home working either


It has been a crazy week! It started off with Trev and Kara getting a nasty stomach bug followed by Allie and Daddy... So far I have been immune! Not sure how that has happened but I am not complaining!

Kara had her appt. today. Everything went great! The surgeon said she has super healing powers! Especially since her surgery was SO extensive! She goes back in May for a hearing test and pre op. then surgery will be scheduled at that time for July or August. Now if only Trev's tests will go that well!

All 3 of mine would LOVE these! I showed Trev and he loved the Mickey Star Wars! My girls have little princesses like the last pic and they would love the Star Wars version for sure! I'm going to have to start babysitting more kids to afford all their souvenirs down there! Thanks for the sending the pics! Too bad the kids were not a little older and they could do odd jobs for people to earn money

Ok so how do I avoid DS seeing these lol...I love the disney ones...sooooo cute...and I thought this would be a cheap trip lol...

I did tell hubby I wanted Disney giftcards for every holiday from now till june (my birthday, valintines day, easter and anniversary)...so I should have a little and DS bday is in april so having him ask for disney giftcards too...although he still doesnt know that we are going...

Cant wait to hear your dates...June 1 that is sat isnt it...would you fly the red eye the night before...seems like since his wish is SWW that he would be able to have more then one day at SWW...but I have heard sunday is least busy so that is good.

I just showed my girls the bottom picture and they wanted that play set now! They love Star Wars almost as much as their brother does! Today for show and tell they brought Darth Vader and Darth Mal because they are doing the color black this month

Getting gift cards for the holidays is a GREAT idea!! I think I will do that for my kiddos instead of buying them little gifts for Valentines and Easter. I think I am going to have to start handing out money for my kids chore charts instead of rewards so they can save up that way too!

We are doing a red eye flight. Not sure on the actual date yet but MAW was thinking of sending us on a Saturday because it is a non stop flight. MAW is contacting Disney and finding out how many days we would be at SWW then we will know more once we hear from them

Not much going on. The kids were very sick last week but all is good now Trev goes in next week for his stress test and the following week for his cardiac MRI so please keep him in your prayers that all looks good and he can go another year without surgery. We are still waiting on dates...
