Treehouse Trip Report

Thanks for sharing your report and pics with us. :thumbsup2

We're hoping to book a THV for our trip next year - it's been a lifelong ambition of mine to stay in a treehouse, too!

You are sure helping us so get ready for our trip in less than one month!! I hope our view request comes in and we have a water view too!!

This is so cool! We are going in January, we are planning for our first full day after grocery shopping, just to hang out and grill some chicken, veggies and have a nice dinner. My parents are into birding so the third day they'll do that while my spouse and I hit a park, and then we'll all have dinner at home. The next day we'll hang out again, though my mom and I will be visiting the spa in the afternoon and we'll have dinner at Fulton's.

Sounds like we'll have a good amount of time to enjoy the THV, since we'll only hit a park our 2nd day (Friday) and the day we transfer to AKV. Glad we didn't plan too many days in the parks cause it sounds like we'll have a good time just hanging at the Villa!

Wonderul pictures, great report. We're looking forward to getting at treehouse someday.

What a wonderful report. Thanks so much for sharing, and I'm glad that you had such a great (although short) trip. :goodvibes

We just returned 11/14 and stayed in 7025. Loved it! We too so enjoyed early morning coffee and a late night wine or beer on the deck. Loved waving to the boats.

Thanks for sharing... one more report & group of photos that make me even more excited for our THV stay in January! :)

Thank you so much for the wonderful report. Just wondering about the bunk beds. Are they large enough to accommodate average size adults? Or are they mainly designed for kiddos?

Thanks in advance.

I think a large adult would have a tough time in the bunk beds. They are twin mattresses, but reminded me more of the narrow ones on my bunk bed in my college dorm a thousand years ago. My teenagers had no discomfort, but neither of them is over 5'7 yet. A really tall person would probably feel a bit cramped. Of course, I guess it has much to do with your tolerance level...some people are just fine with a bed that's a little too small/soft/hard for a few nights as long as they're having fun! The biggest issue with the kids in the bunk bed room was them fighting over the remote control for the flat screen TV!

Great pictures. Thanks for posting. We've got a treehouse booked for March - I can't wait.

I agree. Plus there is a frame at the bottom, so DS can't hang his legs over like he does when he is home. DD20 stayed in the lower bunk while my sister was in the top bunk. She didn't think it was very comfortable.
