Today we do extra magic hour at Magic Kingdom, but seem to lose most of the hour just getting into the park. We had forgotten how long it takes to get to Magic Kingdom. The express monorail was not open and there were queues to get on the resort monorail. It also seemed that only fantasy land and tomorrow land were open.

We get fasspasses for spacemountain and go on Buzz Lightyear first. Today is the first day we really notice the Brazillian tours of teenagers which gradually get worse each day of our holiday. For those of you who have not experienced this phenomena it truly is beyond belief. It seems like each tour consists of hundreds of Brazillian teenagers all wearing the same outfit depending on which school they are attached to. The leader of the group carries a pole with a flag on and all the teens follow.

The park is well and truly open and we go on Haunted Masion to see the improvements from last time. We go on Big Thunder Mountain but have about 20 minutes queue. Mark goes to get Fasspasses for Splash Mountain and me and Kirsty wait for him by Space Mountain. It is extremely hot and for some reason we wait at the wrong place getting very hot eventually we see each other but Mark has been waiting on us for 20 minutes while we were waiting for him!!! Space Mountain is very jerky as usual.

Next is one of my favourites Pirates and it is practically a walk on. We go back to splash mountain. Mark has as waiting by the fasspass entrance as he said a tour leaders had got passess in front of him for 147 people!!!

The ride is great as usual but by now it is so hot and we are feeling hungry.

We decide to leave Disney and go to Denny's for lunch. I have the pulled chicken BBQ and it is lovely. We are off to T-Rex tonight so just a main meal is had by all.

We spend the afternoon/early evening sitting outside on the Treehouse terrace having drinks and chating. It is heaven.

We catch the boat to Downtown Disney and go to T-Rex. It is very busy and are a little early for our reservation, so we sit at the bar for a while

We are soon seated near to the ice section but not in it.

I have the most amazing coton tini (a tropical one) and get to keep the cocktail shaker which comes in very handy later on in our holiday when my cocktail maker/friend arrives

We finish up and now comes the bit Kirsty has been waiting for ever since reading Joh's trip report - Build a dino which we all have been calling dinobear

Kirsty gets a wooly mamouth and we all love it (she even has to kiss its heart and make a wish.)

Before we get the boat back we spend some time chilling at the cigar shop. Mark has not smoked one for about five years so he is very relaxed enjoying his beer and cigar

We get the boat back to the treehouse and sit outside for a while taking the whole atmosphere in. It is wonderful to spend another night here.

Ahh, the Brazilian tour groups, the only down side to holidaying in July, it's amazing how many there are.

Mmm that tropical cotton-tini looks delish, I must give that a go next time

I'm off to look at your Treehouse pics again, as I'm going to see Jules & Ian's in October :yay::yay:
