Tree of Life carvings- making a list

I'm so confused! I polled the family and we have two votes for wombat, one beaver and I thought it was a cute sloth.

My vote was for the lobster but I think the horseshoe crab is in post 22 under the eagle, I called it a round ray before.

"Any chance of getting North, East, South, West sides configured in the long run? It'll make them easier to spot."

That's a good idea! I'll change the lists to add directions if you will all help me.

Sounds like fun :)
Not sure how much help I'll be but I don't mind trying.
You've got quite a list so far!

the tree is one of the most awesome things I ever seen.
I think I took the better part of a day just wandering around and taking pictures of it

Ok lets see if I have my directions right. The side with the tiger and buffalo is on the south side?

The hippo and owl are on the north west side?

My scrapbook page journaling states that the tree has more then 325 endangered and extinct animals ranging in size from 20 feet to smaller then a dime. Many of them may be hard to identify unless you have a degree or a hobby pertaining somehow to zoology.

I also have a list of many of the animals found that I printed and used as a background for my page. Many of them are hardly pronounceable. I'll see if I can dig up the site where I fond the list.

Thanks for the intesting facts and the link. Hopefully this link will help us figure out some of the birds.
