Hubby announced last night that he thinks we should make a treasure map of DLP, and do a treasure hunt with Rosebug when we go, she loves treasure hunts and maps! But of course, he has delegated this task to me (I do everything else so why not).

Any ideas how to go about it? We will carry the prize with us and hide it just before she gets to that point!

Could you use photos of different places in the park or disney characters as part of the clues or to make your map.

How about images of things she has to find? Between us I bet we could come up with some great ones. :)

How about...?

Timothy on top of Dumbo?

Or the Camels face on the camel bench?

That way it doesn't matter if people are stood where you planned to hide something?

She'd love the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom Game in WDW let's hope similar comes to DLRP!

How about doing it more as a scavenger hunt.

You could do a letter from Tinkerbelle asking her to collect certain things for her - a receipt from a particular shop, a park map, a fastpass (youd have to get one and not use it), etc
Then leave the things for Tinkerbelle at night and in the morning she has been like the tooth fairy and taken them and left a prize in the same place

I love this idea and it has reminded me that oldest dd is due a visit from the tooth fairy.

Aw I love this idea!!

Awww, what a lovely idea! I will be keeping an eye on this thread as it might give me some ideas of something to do with Olivia on our next trip! :thumbsup2

Thanks guys! Some fabulous ideas! Need to find time to really think about it, it'll probably be the summer before I manage it at this rate as I am working til 1am most nights atm :sad2: And it's only going to get worse with GCSE coursework and exam marking coming up! :-(
(The next person who tells me teachers finish at 3pm and get **** loads of holidays is going to get a kick in the teeth!)

If your into Geocaching there are some geocaching sites in DLP.

Geocaching has been around for quite a while. The idea behind it is that a cache (item or “guestbook”) is hidden in a location. The hider then gives out GPS coordinates and a clue as to it’s location. Some are easy to find others are near impossible. When you have found it you sign a “guestbook” and record it on geocaching.com.

You would think Disneyland Paris would not have any of these as the security would easily clear them out, but there are a few hidden around the resort.

Hmmm, I just looked at the site and not sure I fully understand how to find what you are referring to - any tips?

This sounds great fun - hope you manage to sort something out pixiedust:

To be honest, the geocaching thing sounds a bit full on for a 3 year old? Or is just me that thinks that? I haven't looked at the site mind you.

I don't even understand it tbh?! But will have a good look before I make any decisions. I have to admit I am liking the idea of the photos and finding key places... who knows what we will end up with! ;)
