Fortunately, I got to see the treasure magic in use before some other dis members. But I am now happy to share a picture of it :

It seems that the codes are randomized and I have seen at least a post, picture, or room in VMK. I can not wait until me and my sisters codes get it!

Yes. Treasure Detector Magic is 1 time use. My guess is that they are seeing how it turns out with the VMK Public. Then will be releasing it at a later date. This is just my theory that they are having a public testing session

My guess worked! You walk around in Public areas and if gold comes out you get something! It cannot be in guest room bc staff does not put prizes in those rooms maybe.

You activate the pin, then just walk around?
Or do you see gold areas and have to walk into them?

You use the magic pin. When you walk around and if you suddenly stop before the magic stops, gold coins will appear beneath your feet. That means that you have found something

THIS IS MY OPINION: (Therefore nobody is right or wrong)

I don't want to burst anybodys bubble or get get into an argument, but I was talking with some other DISer's and VMKer's and we were discussing the fact of people using more than one account just for themselves. Yeah maybe two wouldn't be bad, but 4 or more? Come on.

Ever since we discovered this competition we have seen threads, posts, and other things said in VMK.
"I am not 18 or over"
"My parents do not like eBay"
"I live outside of the US and can not participate"
"What contest is this?"

Wouldnt you think it would be nice to even gift somebody at least one person a code each day? Or at least think about it. I am not trying to flame anybody, but I think there could be a little more heart in VMK

Just curious, if it expires in 1 day can I still use it tomorrow or is it today only?

Like the keys in pirates can you use them the next day?

My keys dont expire before 2 days are over. I wouldnt risk letting the treasure magic expire tho.
