Has anyone tried the Travelon convertible Backpack Shoulder Bag or the Travelon Organizer Backpack/Shoulder bag? I purchased the Baggallini large wallet bag a few months ago when it was the hot item on the Dis. Who knew the Dis casued "peer pressure". :) I like the Baggallini but don't LOVE it. I am still on the hunt for the perfect hands free park bag. I would be very interested to hear comments on these bags.

I too was interested and went to ebags to look at it. The one review made a good point. The lady said that she was worried that the one pocket designed to hold credit cards, etc could be easily accessed. She had her dh try it and she never felt a thing. Not good security wise. Meant to add that I looked at the convertible version.

One site says there's a pocket on the side that goes against your back. I think that's where I'd carry money and credit cards.I'm trying to decide between baggallini urban, travelon, or find something else.

I just saw a bag LA Tour Eiffel that looked great. I've got to trya nd find it online.

I ordered the travelon bag from QVC for our trip over New Year's and I loved it. It rained one day and although the outside was wet, everything on the inside was dry. My bag has 5 pockets. If you think of an oval, each side zippers so that the pockets each are about half the width of the bag. there is another zippered area that goes against your back that has slots, etc for credit card. on the outside side there is a pouch that snaps and then also a zippered pouch. I kept the camera in one of the side pockets, video camera in the other, credit cards/tickets next to my back, and kleenex, chapstick etc on the outside. The bag was very light and I never had sore shoulders or back.:)

I am the OP. I went ahead and bought the bag and loved it. The compartment that is designed to hold credit cards and cash goes directly against your back. The other poster most have worn it backwards. I just returned today from a week at Disney and the bag worked perfectly. It held what I needed and was still light weight. I am glad I bought it and will definitely use it again. I also brought along my baggalenni(?)wallet bag incase I did not want to carry the backpack. I only used it for about half a day before I went back to the travelon. Even on the rainy days it kept my stuff dry.:)

Which model did you buy? I was looking on ebags and there are many different models. Thanks so much!

Just thought I would share my experience since I own both bags. I originally bought the bagallini and found it made my back really sore by the end of the day. It also would not stay snug as the strap kept slipping which may have contributed to my back hurting. Mind you I never have back problems normally. The next time we went I bought the triangular travelon that snaps at the front and is worn on the front of a person like the bagallini. It is smaller which helps me not bring too much and weigh myself down like I did with the bagallini. I did not have problems with my back hurting at all with the travelon. My son now gets my bagallini for his few things like his autograph book etc. and does not mind carrying it. I carry my camera, ID's, a few misc items like lip balm, pen, moleskin, hair ties, a bandaid, Aleve etc. as well. I can put in a smaller bottle of water as well and have it stick out the top.

One hint I have is to scotchguard everything hats, bags etc. with scotchguard before going to Disney.

I bought the Travelon Microfiber Convertible Backpack Shoulder Bag. It was $21.50ish plus tax and everything. But I feel definately worth the money. We are planning a trip to Hershey this summer and it will be the only bag that I take.

I'm not sure what model of the Travelon bag is being discussed, but I had the messenger style shoulder bag. I loved the way it was organized BUT be aware, my bag had a magnetic closure and I think it messed with my digital camera. The camera didn't seem to work right for a couple of days so much so that I switched bags, just in case. I can't say for sure that the closure was the problem, but I didn't want to risk my photos being lost.

The bag I used was the Travelon Microfiber Convertible Backpack Shoulder Bag. I can't figure out how to post a link but QVC has a picture and info on it.
I also ordered the Travelon Microfiber Organizer Backpack/shoulder bag. I liked it but returned it because I only needed one bag and wanted to compare the two bags. It is a little smaller but wider. It has less compartments. It is basically a small oval backpack that you can open and access from the front zipper and the back zipper.

I liked how the Convertible Backpack shoulder bag was flatter on my back and a bit more stylish. The Organizer Backpack sticks out a little further.

I also bought the Baggalleni large wallet bag. I liked it but did not love it. I did not like the way it would tip forward and the strap would rub my neck. It also is a lot smaller and will not hold ponches, water bottles, etc.
