If Delta strike, are Travelocity under any obligation to find you an alternate flight or refund ?

No, Travelocity is under no obligation. They'll probably try to help as much as they can with finding alternative flights, assuming any are to be found. They won't pay for the alternative flights for you.

If you paid with a credit card within 60 days prior to the airline going out of business, then your credit card is mandated to refund your money. Otherwise, your money is subject to total loss.

Sorry, I wish the news was better, but look at the bright side: Twice in the last couple of years, the federal judiciary has chosen to take the debt burden of a major airline like Delta onto the American taxpayers, rather than let it go out of business. They'll probably do that again.

In this case I have to admit you are going to have trouble. Your TA should assist you in rebooking. My experience from reading travel boards is that if your TA is Travelocity or Expedia don't plan on a lot of help!

We booked with Travleocity as well and their customer service is beyond useless! They told me I would get a refund. They are unlikely to book on other flights). I don't know if they will refund if Delta goes completely bankrupt. If they don't givbe a refund, I'll try to charge back through my credit card, since my contract is with Travelocity not Delta. I wouldn't be surprised if there's some fine print to protect Travelocity, though.
