Travelocity and Magical Express

I booked my Disney hotel (Pop Century) through Travelocity and it specifically said "Magical Express included." But when I called the 407 W DISNEY number to reserve the express, I was told that I had to contact Travelocity to make those reservations.

Is that true? I haven't been able to get through to Travelocity yet. Someone else must have had this situation before.

Five weeks and counting till trip date ...

Don't call the 407-W-DISNEY number. Call Disney's Magical Express Guest Services. I don't have the number off the top of my head, but a search on here should provide it.

I think I found the number. Thanks. Why does Disney make things so hard? I looked on their Web site and couldn't find a number to call for Magical Express anywhere. Not even their Magical Express FAQ mentioned where to call.

just in case somebody is struggling with the number ( i did )...here it is
1-866-599-0951

the WDW number doesnt work, or in other words they are of no help...and would point you to travel agent that you booked with.

This is a very old thread!!!
The reason why this happens??? Travelocity (or Orbitz) owns that reservation...not you!!! So, Disney is only going to talk to the person making the reservation...not you.
This is the one big reason I always recommend making your own WDW reservations. This way, you have control over your vacation, not a TA or third party!!!

There is a VERY good search function here right here in the forums (as well as the wonderfulness that is Google). When searching for specific information, it is VERY easy to dig up extremely old threads and not even realise it. There are many who forget to check the dates of the posting because they are focused on reading the content. I mostly lurk on here so I really have no clue who everybody is and I am not enough of a longtime poster to even pay attention to the names of those posting. I love the info I find on here so that's what I focus on.

There are folks who get annoyed when people ask the same questions over and over instead of using "search". But then, someone else gets annoyed when someone resurrects an old thread because they have more questions about the info there (that is often still relevant). Infrequent posters can't win.

But the person who resurrected this thread wasn't looking for information, they provided it. It seems like they joined the forum just so they could provide the DME number since their only other post is identical to this one. :rotfl:
