I have 2 y/o identical twin boys and we are taking them to DW for the first time! We'll be there Jan 31 - Feb 6. I'm really excited and a bit nervous as I have NO idea how they'll react to everything. One boy is more timid and sort of holds back when approaching new things, while the other jumps right in without a thought most of the time!
OK---since most of you seem to have older twins and have done this before - maybe you can give me some thoughts/advice on our trip! We're planning to use umbrella strollers in the parks (I bought the connectors, too, just in case we need them). We'll take the bus from the resort to the parks - any advice on getting the strollers and boys on board easily, without annoying other passengers? I'm going to use a backback diaper bag because I'm thinking it would be easier than a shoulder bag - any thoughts on that? I'm also going to bring a small zippered cooler bag with juice and water for the boys & granola bars, teddy grahams, etc for snacks. We'll plan to go back to the room for their naps, keeping them on their regular schedule as much as possible, so we'll probably head back to the room around noon, after lunch.
Thanks in advance for any "muliples" travel tips!

I think you have grewat meals planned Pooh is awesome and the kids will love it...Liberty Tree tavern is also great and the food is awesome too....Tell me more about the Plaza Landing never heard anything about it..That is why I love these boards you learn to sooo much here...2poohbears said:Kritter-Thanks for the advice. I think I'll use your suggestion of having dh fold the strollers while I get the boys on the bus...that probably would be faster than each of us doing that with 1 boy and 1 stroller.
I made character meal reservations for the Crystal Palace breakfast (they LOVE Pooh & Friends) and for dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern. I'm just hoping they won't be afraid of the characters.
We also have reservations for the preferred viewing area for fireworks. It's at the Plaza Landing...I'm just hoping that area won't be too overcrowded for the little ones. I guess we could always just leave if it is.

We went again when the twins were 2 1/2, others were 5 and 7. We're going again in March and we're so excited! We've booked breakfest w/Cindy and Chef Mickey's. Should be a lot of fun!

We were scheduled for late dinner on the cruise and yesturday we got switched to early dinner. The twins are signed up for Flounders every night from 8-10 PM. I am not sure if I should try and switch the babysitting times when we get on the ship. I am looking for advice.

2poohbears said:I "lucked" into the preferred fireworks viewing at the Plaza Landing on Main Street in MK. When I booked our trip DW added "AAA Storytelling" to my package by mistake. They noticed the error after I paid and sent a letter stating storytelling isn't part of the MYW package +dining. To make up for the error they sent me vouchers for preferred fireworks viewing at the Plaza Landing. I had to call to reserve a spot for our family on the date we wanted. I'm not really sure if it's truly a good spot or not since I've never watched the fireworks from there. I have to arrive 15 minutes before the fireworks start & there is no seating...I guess you just stand to watch the fireworks. I'm hoping it's not over-crowded since the boys are small. I went ahead and booked it--if it's not comfortable we can always leave!
BTW---today I added a reservation for the character dinner at Garden Grill at Epcot on SAT. I was worried we might have trouble getting a table service meal on a SAT evening if I didn't make the reservation. I've never eaten there...hoping it's good.
