Hi, It's nice to hear stories of other families with multiples. We are all so blessed.
I have 8 year old twins (BB) and 6 year old triplets (BBG).
Twins do run in my family but I also took one dose of clomid with each pregancy. I found out I was having twins at 16 weeks. I had to stop work at 20 weeks and did home bedrest for 6 weeks. I spent 8 weeks in the hospital on mag to stop contractions. I had the twins at 34 weeks and they were in the special care nursery for 5 days. They weighed 4.5 and 4.10 lbs.
I found out I was having triplets at 12 weeks. I went to the hospital because we thought I had a miscarriage only to find out I was having triplets. I started having contractions at 15 weeks and was put on bedrest at home while trying to watch 18 month old twins. I was hospitalized at 18 weeks for complete bedrest and lots of mag. The triplets were born at 32 weeks and they spent 10 days to 14 days in NICU. They weighed 3.2, 3.8, and 3.10.
All the kids are healthy and happy. It's been a rough eight years. They are now in first and third grade. We've been to Disney twice and it has been the best family vacation. We can't wait to go back. Best of luck to you all. ::MickeyMo

Oh My!! :earseek: :faint:

Enjoyed reading your story, can't imagine what your life has been like these past 8 years, either. When we did IVF they placed 3 embryos. Many days when the twins were younger, DH and I used to say "imagine if we had triplets", LOL. DH used to feel a bit stressed if he had to take the kids to the mall by himself while I was at work. Until one day he ran into another Dad by himself with QUADS! :rotfl: After that day, he never complained. ;)

Tell us what your life is like - and by the way, I'm so happy you got your girl! princess: ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo

oh my gosh you srue are busy...and you have been to WDW twice wow...that must have been fun....and made you tired...can yo upost a picture of your kids please...????
thanks...

We have 8 year old quadruplets (GGGB) and have taken 5 trips to WDW with the first trip about 2 weeks after they turned 5. Each time does get easier and easier as they get older and I think it's now much easier for us than it is for other families who have 4 children of different ages. Our kids are all interested in most of the same things, are all able to go on the same rides, can all swim in the pools, are on the same eat/sleep schedule, etc. I have a friend (a mom) who just went to WDW with her family (DH, DS10, DD8, DS5, DS1) -- Yikes! I'd take the multiple route any time!!!

wow congrats you sure do have your hands full...But I agree with you when they get older and it is easier when they are all interestd in the same rides, etc.. when they are different ages then you have diff. interests etc... going on....post a picture of you kids if you can...thanks would love to see them...

Great thread idea!!!

Here is our story...we have 4 kids DS8, DD3 & DS/DD1.5 twins. We have been to Disney many times but since we had the twins we have gone 4 times. Their first trip was when they were 4 months old and I agree that as they get older it gets easier. The bad news is that our annual pass is up and we don't expect to go back until September.

GA TECH,
Did I read your post right you have two sets of twins???

If not so sorry been a long day...

It does get so much easier...
Also the passes all went up as of Jan 1...

Mom of twin boys here. My fraternal twin boys are 6years old and will go to WDW for the first time in June. We can't wait. :cool1: People normally don't know our boys are twins unless they are told. They don't look alike at all and there is a 3 inch difference in height. Going to Disney will be quite the adventure but I am glad that we waited till now because they will big enough for big boy rides. The shorter twin is 44inches (small for his age). I would post a picture but I don't know how

You must have been reading too fast. My kids are DS(eight), DD(three) and DS/DD(one & a half) twins. The 8 & 3 tricked you!

The hardest thing with our bunch is the kids vary in age so they have different needs, wants and activities.

I understand that too GaTech - it is hard sometimes- also my twins really share very few things that they like one is a Dora fan kinda rough and tomboyish one is Cinderella all the way and very "girly". If fact my "Dora" daughter wants to know where Dora is going to be at WDW. I had to tell her that there would be Power Rangers but no dora... she was fine with that. :)

anyones twins have the cinderella talking kitchen mine already have a kitchen but want this one for their b-day in feb...

no we got the castle for Christmas instead of the kitchen. it has been played with a lot I was suprised.
