TRaveling with a minor who isn't your child

My Dh and I will be taking my niece with us to WDW. My DH and I both have passports that we tend to use as our ID for checkin/secrity. What do I have to have for NIECE? I will have a notorized letter stating we can seek medical care for her in case of emergancy. What else should I request?
Airline is booked via online.

If she is a minor she won't need any id. We had my dd girlfriend visit us when we were in WDW last year. When i checked her in at the airport on the way home they just looked at my id. I would imagine if she was traveling with you it would be the same as me traveling with my own children. They just ask for my id...none from the kids...

I travel with my students all the time.

Make sure the permission slip explains where you are going, how, and for how long.

Permission to make medical decisions for the child. Include a list of current medications, allergies, and doctor's name and phone number. Don't forget the child's insurance information!

As long as you are travelling domestically, and as long as she is under 18, over 2, and not travelling on an age-specific fare, she will not need any ID. If she's old enough to have a school ID, it can't hurt for her to carry it.
For a young child on a special fare, a photocopy of a birth certificate will suffice to prove the child's age.

she's 6 don't have photo id that I know of and it was booked as child but it's same price as ours so I don't think they will say much.
I will have my parents/her Dad put where we are going and for how long. I'll also get a copy of her medicaid card.
