3 suitcases packed, probably 3 more to go. Granted, one is full of diapers, wipes and costumes. I have a few more loads of laundry to go before we will be totally packed. I figure if I pack now, I won't accidently wear something I really wanted to wear on the cruise.

Dumb one....can we bargain in the jewelry shops?

I assume you mean the ones not on the ship and the answer is Yes. That is not my things, but I have sailed with people who do all the time. Plus they start haggling with you as you walk by in Cozumel. And then there are the places that offer you a free Margarita for coming in.

If you do not seriously haggle in Cozumel, you will grossly overpay...GC has far less bargaining as it is pure British culture. There is no bargaining, and rarely bargains , on the boat.

As to parasailing, the last answer is correct...I also suggest you bring a waterproof camera b/c if it is windy, there is a lot of spray and the boat goes fast and bounces off the waves..but it is lots of fun and you get an incredible view of CC.

Love the door sign! Thanks Sandy- now I just have to figure out where I am going to put it on my door. I have become door magnet possessed!
I hope everyone gets to feeling better soon! Can't believe the cruise is so close- I have so much more to do and being under the weather hasn't helped!
Opening Margaret's family gifts tonight- starting to wonder if her birthday will ever end- by the time we get to Saturday night it will seem like we have been celebrating her birthday forever!

We plan on leaving here around 9:30. I need to go to the bank, and then Walmart in Winchester. I spoke to Kenna's doctor (there is an advantage to working in the nursery and seeing the pediatricians daily) she wants us to have Kenna drink pediasure instead of the rice and soy milk. Then we are driving to Dulles Town Centre and having lunch at Red Robin, and then just casually driving into DC. We haven't decided if we are going to do anything there or not. It will be too cold to go to the National Zoo. We may go to the Smithasonian, or just drive around and view the White House and monuments and such. I do need Bob to stop and let me off at the White House gift shop so that I can get the yearly Christmas ornament.

Our train leaves Union Station at 7:30. We arrive in Orlando at 2:00 Friday afternoon.

Hi Dawn. You're a Turkey too, of course you can print out the sign for your door. Anyone going on our cruise, who posts on this thread is welcome to use any of the signs I've posted here. There are a couple on the first page of the thread too.

Lora - Have a great time in DC and a safe trip. I'm anxious to hear how Amtrak is. I think it could be a lot of fun. DH is not fond of flying and I know he would enjoy it.

I have an update on my FIL. The bottom line is--we're going! We still don't know much and he's going to come down to the farm whether he's on oxygen or not, so we're getting the heck out of here!

I'm done packing with the exception of our shampoo/cosmetic bag. I had to take stuff out of almost every suitcase due to the weight. I tried--I really did--to limit what I packed. I thought I did good until I weighed each one.

I'm going to take DD to volleyball at 6:30 and then rush home to try to get an A boarding pass on Southwest. We are leaving school a little bit early tomorrow and will be sitting at the airport at this time tomorrow. I'm looking forward to meeting and seeing everyone!

We got our in about 10 days after we called. Maybe you could call them if you don't get it tomorrow and maybe they could transfer the rewards directly to your shipboard account. Can't hurt to ask. Good Luck!

Susan - Glad to hear you'll be with us and that your FIL is well enough to get around.
Hopefully we'll see you at MVMCP on Friday night. Stacie and I have each others cell numbers and we'll be calling to connect if we need to! I'm wearing a red, gray and white MM sweater. DH will be in his new colorful hoodie and you'll recognize Billy Bob! (I may even buy myself some new MM ears, so look for those too on top of my pot scrubber head!)

The card has to be registered to your credit card so you cannot share with someone else. Had I known I was just at Downtown Disney yesterday. I know for sure at Downtown Disney Guest Services you can pick up a card call the activation number and then they will link the rewards card to your credit card. You may be able to do it at any Guest Relations at any park. Call and ask then maybe someone can pick one up for you. A day earlier and I would have snagged one for you.
