I just checked on Paloma,which is Picasso's daughter's name by the way(art history trivia). She is small but strengthening and could be a cat.2 by tonight when she passes over or near Grand Cayman. She's expected to weaken over Cuba due to their topography. Hopefully there won't be much damage.

Going to WDW website. Rumor has it they have a new offer for buy 4 nights get 3 free which includes passes as well. We took advantage of the same offer about 5 years ago. You can save quite a bit! I need to start thinking about booking for 2009!! And maybe tack on a 3 or 4 night cruise to the WDW stay if the discount is good enough.

I think it's also buy 4 days of tickets, get 3 free and a $200 gift card. If I didn't already have passes, I'd jump at that deal.

For those considering DVC, there's also a deal for that. I may not be able to resist adding on more points at BLT (contemporary).

DH is soooo in the dog house right now. He put off getting our "good" car fixed until it was too late. Waiting so long has probably ruined the engine. We're waiting to hear from the mechanic. Worst of all, it was going to be completely paid off on 11/19. I am so mad. So now he wants to go look for a new car today. I told him I'm too pissed off and that he should go by himself because it isn't going to be pleasant being around me today. That's when he says, "Fine, I don't care, I have a car. You can live without one."

If I knew how to commit a murder without getting caught...

I can sympathize Sandy. We paid our Matrix off on Jan 3rd and our daughter wrecked it to the tune of $6,0000 on Jan 5th. I almost tried out the steak/roast theory but I don't eat red meat!!!

I have a few "medicinal" ways that I know of for Murder, But I don't think that I should share them.

HOWEVER, like the movie "Something to Talk About" with Julia Roberts and Dennis Quaid, A little dose of Ipecac in something never hurt anybody, or some X-Lax in brownies.

Chuck-=-How much time does x-lax and ipecac go for these days???

My concern with the icicle is, although it does melt there may be some DNA available. If you cook and eat the meat you can destroy any DNA left on the weapon. Just a thought. Perhaps we can ask Horatio Caine.

I know someone (who shall remain anonymous) who put a drop of dish detergent in each ice cube square, filled with water and froze. When her step mother made her cocktails with the ice, well...... Lets just say she had a few skidders to launder from her panties!!!

This may only make sense to those in Florida. I work across the street from the law offices of the infamous Jose Baez......so I know where you can find an attorney besides I miss being greeted at 6:30am by every mahor news outlet so he needs a new client.

Sorry Chuck and Lisa not making fun of lawyers just the media circus that used to be camped out at our school.

I checked into the 200.00 gift card. Unfortunately that is for stays during Feb and March. I can't go until school is out. But if you can do it, it's a great offer!!!

I thought Chuck was joking with his response. Just as I thought everyone was joking with their Horatio Cane ideas. Maybe I am wrong but i do think sarcasm and humor are hard to get across in an email/post.

Well my family is off to meet with our friends and start sorting our their FE stuff. We are not as organized as Susan, but she does inspire me to get my butt in gear

Because more importantly we are down to basically 14 more days until we can all be enjoying a wonderful family vacation.

I have to tell you all, I have been reading these posts for a few months in anticipation of my upcoming Thanksgiving Cruise, and I am surprised at how Chuck and Lisa are attacked. They simply seem to be sharing their wealth of information about their experiences with all of us. I, for one, am grateful for the advice and insight. Considering that Chuck and Lisa were, it seems to me, extending their hands in friendship, I find it a bit reprehensible that they are attacked when giving their opinions that were solicited!

My partner and I are looking forward to this cruise and would love to part of Chuck and Lisa's FE program. Not sure what we have to do join, but, Chuck and Lisa, please let us know!

As for the rest of this posting, please be considerate and respectful of the advice and experience that Chuck is sharing with us.

I am not one who wants to get involved but more sit on the side lines. I have loved being a part of this thread and I am very thankful for all who have been involved on it and those who had to leave, (miss you).
I do think that Michelle is correct that perhaps some things come across in a different manner than they were meant to be? I only heard that there were things said on another thread but didn't go to seek it as it wasn't something I wanted to read. If I remember correctly he did try to apologize? Either way I am not wanting to take things personal. If someone says something I don't care for I just don't respond to it. I think maybe it's a dry since of humor and some of us may not always get it but I am use to that in my every day life. I usually don't get much things.
This is my happy place and I just don't feel so happy seeing other people being hurt and another families being shunned. Again that's just me. I just want to be friends with everyone and always trying to keep the peace. I'm not part of one click or another, but just a fellow Dis'er looking forward to meeting everyone and enjoying a vacation that I have dreamed of for a long time.
