Can't believe it is only 17 days. Time to get serious about packing lists and FEs. Picked up a few things this weekend. Thanks everyone for taking note that my Nicky is a "Nick." Suzanne, I also noticed that there is still a note on our section saying plus 2 teenagers. Even though my almost six year old acts like a teenager, we don't have any teens. Just the 4 of us - Jordy, Hilary, Nick and Lauren.

We are so excited for the Tshirts, the design is so cute and really appreciate you helping me figure out the sizes.

Still no cabin for us either!!!! I am worried. I hope we are able to get documents in time. I only need them for the luggage tags! I am still very excited! Maybe today is our day!

I had that happen once that I got no documents. Do not worry...they take care of it all. I was able to register online and they had tags at the port that they put onto my luggage.

But I am sure they will be there soon....unless your mailman decides to go on your vacation

Prior to today I've been working off a mental list and adding needed items to the oversized chair in my room. Today I pulled out the first of many suitcases and started officially packing! So far I've packed my 3 year old's clothes and used some of those big gallon size bags to help with organization. My clothes are half packed and all of our swim wear and gear is packed too. Not too much longer!

I can't believe it's almost here! We have some major stuff to get done. My mom is making us a personalized FE and I can't wait to see it. It's all Nemo themed since that's DH's favorite.

Well I've read many different answers to your question over the past few months. Some set up one nice item per room. Some deliver small items every day.
I'm set up to work the FE's more toward room mates. Kids will get more small things. I may break those up into smaller delivery's, Adults only may get one something thats more of a keepsake. Once I know the list is final I'll be able to get a better feel for what I'm doing. I will admit I'm a little stressed out about the Teens and the Pre-teens though. What to do with that group?

Its a gift and its a gamble. Not every thing my Great Aunt Marta gave me was wonderful but it was nice that she thought of me.

At one point we talked about a Thanksgiving Recipe Exchange. What was the consensus on that? Are we or aren't we??? Just wondering so I can get that together

I'm impressed! While doing laundry today, I contemplated whether or not to set aside the kiddos clothes & start packing. Nah, too early I thought. Maybe I need to rethink that! I'm the one who is up til 4am packing the day before when we leave at 5am for our flight! Not that I wait too long, I just always under estimate how long it takes to pack four of us! This year I must say I am MUCH more prepared than prior years! YEAH!

We haven't started packing yet.

I never over pack. Can't stand to unpack stuff we didn't use after we come back home.

We just added on the Wonder prior to this cruise and the Magic after this cruise so probably need to get going as we are leaving a week prior than planned.

Reading the thread and everyone elses plans always makes me more excited and of course jealous of everyone who is already organized, started packing and has their room assignments.

Teenage girls I do like tiny bottle of nailpolish, stickers for thier nails, tattoos, gel pens


The teenage boys are harder. Pencils erasers sticky notes.


And to answer your question I bag the goodies and focus on one bag per kid and I do it three times. So three small bags per kid

DH packs himself. Jeans that I ask "couldn't you have washed them before you packed them?" or shirts that I question "Isn't that what you painted the deck in?" but to his defense they are always very clean shirts just with stains or holes.

I could do the Recipe Exchange. Think any area for the meal would be good idea. Some people may not excell in side dishes. I have a feeling people will look at me funny if I gave a card with:
Peal and Boil potatoes.
Add milk & butter.
Mash with Masher.
Serve in fancy Dish.

Would anyone like my recipe for buttered Sweet Corn. Its short and sweet!

Actually I do have a recipe for a corn bread dish that could bring and and another that is a Pillsbury turkey ring that would be great the following day for brunch. Its a staple for any party.

Hello ALL,

Still no number for room as if noon today.

I just checked the DC web site and it looks as if our cruise is offically sold out!! I could not even get a room for 2 people to come up!!

It is chilly and rainy here around the Dallas TX area so today is really making me so glad to be on the this upcoming cruise.!!
