We are joining this cruise too

It will be me, Dh, dd16, dd14, dd9, dd7 and ds7 (two older dd who can't come due to school and working for the mouse who does NOT give off for Thanksgiving).

Looking forward to meeting new DIS friends and seeing familiar ones again.

Hoping there are kids similar ages as it's always a high point of the cruise for my kids meeting new friends.

Welcome to the group.... More and more cruisers.... You can check out the website - most of the ages are listed on the spreadsheet. I think there are DK (Disney Kids) that fall within your children's ages.

We have been discussing having a meet the first day... Keep checking back on the boards for details....

We had a blast today! Yesterday I heard about a local costume rental place going out of business. It was a lady that ran it out of a building next to her house in the middle of nowhere. She made a few of the costumes but most of them were licensed. So DH, DD and I went there after work and got some awesome stuff. We got Lorelei a belle and minnie costume for now and then kangaroo, Dorothy, tutu, Eeyore, Sully, pirate maiden, Jesse, and Simba costumes for when she's older to dressup. They were in great condition and we got them all for $60! I can't wait. They had a really awesome Mike wozowski costume but it was way too big for her. Probably for a 12 yo. She only wanted $15. She still has some stored stuff to clean out so we told her anything Disney we'd take. So fingers crossed.

Any suggestions for a location & time for a meet on the first day?- guess it would have to be before the life board drill and sail away :.

Some groups have met in the Promenade Lounge (read about this location on another thread) or on the top deck... Since I have only cruised once I am sure the repeat cruisers may have some ideas.

On most of our cruises it's been the promenade lounge prior to safety drill. Most often for us it's been at 3:00. We have been at some held on deck 9 or 10 and sometimes when they are on deck 9 or 10 they are very noisy.

We have been the week before Thanksgiving and the week after, and the weather is very nice! The water is a tad chilly on CC (to me), but didn't seem much different than the other times of the year. In fact, every time I have come home with bad sunburns thinking that it wouldn't be a problem, so the sun is still definitely out full force! LOL

Wow! Our boat is getting busy! Welcome everyone! Please check the website. The FE list was updated today with room numbers and other information. Please let me know if my fingers made a mistake!

DH is going to look into getting t-shirts made. Please let me know if you are interested and what sizes you would need.

We just booked day before yesterday, so we are new too, but welcome! I have a DS8 who will be with me on this one too!

Congrats on your booking also! So nice to see another boy that is the same age as my youngest. We do not know our cabin yet still GYT. But we are Main dine, What dine time are you all? We are from Dallas TX ( just north of Dallas).

If so that is totally fine, if not, we would love to participate. My kids love delivering the stuff and looking at everyone elses FE and magnets.
