Traveling from WDW to Port Canaveral

We are flying into MCO a few days before our cruise, plan to spend one night at AKL and then spend the remaining days exploring the Port Canaveral area. I know we can rent a car and drive to the port but is it possible to take Disney's transportation prior the day of the cruise? Or are there shared shuttles that will pick up at AKL? So far the only ones I have found (by google search) pick up at MCO.

Disney will only transport you on the day of the cruise. There are some shared shuttle services, but I think they only pick up at the airport or the hotels near the airport.

we also are spending a few days in Disney World before the cruise, there are 10 of us, we have booked Disney Bus transportation that will pick us up at the Contempory and take us to the cruise, after the cruise they will take us to the airport for our flight home. Cost is $70.00 per person. Hope this helps.

You can look at private car hire if you want to get you out there. Like a limo service or similar. They can do sedans, limos, or vans.

You might want to check int using flours.com ( a site sponsor ) for at least from WDW to the port. If you want to get to the port early then DCL transfers are not for you, you may not get there until close to 2PM depending in their routine of pickups.
