Traveling from MGM to DTD

Hi Everyone,
I have a question for anyone who could help.My DH and I are Disney Newbies and are very excited about our Nov trip staying at the POP. My question is how do we go to DTD from our day touring MGM? We'd like to eat either at Spoodles or ESPN and I'm not sure if we should take the bus or if there is another shorter way. Also does anyone have anything good or bad to say about either place to eat? It's just DH and myself out to enjoy all of Disney. We are flying in and using Disney transportation. Thanks in advance for any help.

Maybe you are confused? Spoodles and ESPN are both at the Boardwalk, not DTD. You can walk to the Boardwalk from the Studios, or you can take a boat. If you decide to walk, this thread may help you:

If you are at MGM, then want to eat at Spoodles or ESPN afterwards, here is what you need.

Leave MGM and go to the left toward the boat dock and take a boat and get off at the Boardwalk stop OR go straight out and keep the water on your left and take the walking path to the Boardwalk and you will reach Spoodles and ESPN.

After eating at either of those places, go "through" the Boardwalk Inn lobby out the front doors and follow the signs to the bus depot. You can then board the bus for DTD.
