Traveling from Hollywood to Disneyland w/suit cases can we...

Can we take suit cases on a public bus? We are on a tight budget and every dollar counts. Looks like we can take the bus (2) to get there, but can we bring our luggage on? We will have 2 full size cases and 3 carry-ons. If anyone knows the answer or has a better idea, I would appreciate all help.

You can take the luggage...if there is space. It is not restricted, but there is NO luggage storage space on the LA-Disneyland bus, it's on your lap and/or in a seat, so the driver may bar you if the bus is full.

You're staying in Hollywood for a while before DL?

Thanks malt dizzy. We ended up purchasing Amtrak tickets. We are spending 3 days in Hollywood, 3 days at Disneyland & 2 at Knotts.

Have you been to Hollywood before?

I ask because....in Hollywood itself there isn't a lot to do for more than maybe a half-day. While Hollywood has some high-end accommodations and stores, it's one of the poorest zip codes in L.A. and much of Hollywood Blvd. very...shall we say..."counter-culture."

That said, it is nice and centrally located, allowing relatively easy access by car to Griffith Park (the L.A. Zoo, The Autry Museum of American West), University City and Burbank (Warner Bros Studios), Beverly Hills, West Hollywood (clubs), Downtown (L.A. Live), Dodgers Stadium, Miracle Mile (LACMA, La Brea Tar Pits, Farmers Market/Grove). There is so much to do in L.A., especially if you're a history or film buff. But it's an automobile-centric city, though it does have good bus coverage to get must places.

You may know this, you may have a set itinerary, I just wanted to check in.
