Traveling during Race Weekend. Expectations?

I will be traveling to WDW during the Wine and Dine race weekend. I will not be running in the events.
My question: how do the parks look during race weekends? What can I, as a non participant, expect?

Great! I'm a runner myself, so I don't mind the crowds. But I'll be down there celebrating a family member's birthday. No time for running.

If the runners you see in the parks weren't wearing their medals you likely wouldn't know they were even runners. Very little impact on park attendance, but you could see some increased traffic in some areas leading up to and definitely the morning of the race.

Make your ADRs as far in advance as you can. Same with FP. There will not be any when you get here. ANY. Last time they filled DAKL restaurants. No walk-ins. No exceptions. It was mad.
