Traveling Disers are lost and adrift somewhere?

 Have a great weekend everyone - that's it for me! I am off to the beach!

I'm outa here too. Stay safe all of you. See you after the holiday. And Ed...be good. Stay out of trouble.

I Love BTMRR. It's my DD's absolute fave so we probably ride this more than any other ride.

Hope everyone had a good holiday. We had great weather, but also had a house full of guests, including MIL who wants to be waited on hand and foot. I barely sat down the entire weekend. That's okay, though because on Friday I'm for Bermuda for 10 days where I will be waited on hand and foot.

I'm just back from Cape Cod IRL had a great time.

IN cyberlife I think I'm headed to GF spa for a massage then I'm going crash by the pool, maybe I'll head over to MK tonight.

A day at the spa sounds good to me! And I didn't get in enough swimming IRL this weekend, so I'll hang by the pool too!

Hope everybody had a great holiday!

Ed, I think we were all holding our breath waiting to see if the ship's horn was going to sound this morning.

I had a great weekend too. It was such beautiful weather. We were up in Maine for it. We had a nice cookout party for my FIL on Saturday and the whole family stopped over for it. The cousins all have wee ones the same age and it was fun to see them now at the age they all play together.

Oh, and I got to eat LOBSTER! My husband is a little leary about me doing that while prego but I am pretty sure I indulged while pregnant with my son so I am going with the theory that its fine in moderation.

OK - I'll head over to the spa with you all.

suzannen, congrats on being in the countdown to BERMUDA! Everyone tells me its the best vacation they have ever taken. They all love it there. Believe it or not, I STILL have not made up my mind about vacation this fall. Where are you guys staying in Bermuda?

Bermuda...hmmm, maybe we will set sail tomorrow hit the Bahamas then head out to Bermuda.

Hey everyone! Crashing by the pool sounds great to me. I'm worn out. This weekend was DS-Josh's 5th birthday weekend extravaganza. Party Friday (it rained, so everyone was in the house), out to dinner with DFIL Saturday night, Spiderman 2 with DFIL, DH & DS on Sunday, Cook-out at mom & dad's Monday. I'm ready to hang by the pool & sip margaritas all day.

hmm, I've never been to Bermuda....

Found ya. Our week-end was okay. Were supposed to go to a wedding but got called to the Cape,,f-i-l was admitted to ER. Looks like his kidney function is shutting down. But, it would be a mercy if it ends soon. He has advanced Alzheimers so it would be a good thing if he passes soon. But, on a lighter note, dd and I spent Sunday on the beach in Osterville...I got burned ears. Had lobsta dinner that night.

I think Bermuda would be a great place to stop. I haven't been there since my first honeymoon, back in '71. Well, off for a massage and a facial. See ya all at the pool.

Ah yes '71, I remember it well....it was the year I was born! :teeth:

:teeth: Well, I would have been a bit gentler with that one, but I was born in '71 also. Diane, Goofy4Tink, looks extremely young to have been married back in '71.

I hope its not a long road to haul with your uncle as it is an extremely terrible situation. It sometimes surprises you how long they can hold on for, though.

I am exhausted today too. Yeah. like that's something new, but it was a long weekend, figuratively and litterally.

OK, here I am taking full advantage of this pool.

I was just being funny, didn't mean to sound mean.....I guess I'm not as funny as I thought I was.

BTW, you are HOT!!!

Babies, I'm hanging out with mere babies!!!! What am I thinking. These people can't relate to the whole 60's thing, have no idea what......oh, never mind. Seems I've forgotten what I was going to say. You guys are bad!!! Obviously I'm the senior member here. But I do remember to doing some pretty good rabble rousing at Jerry!!! And my father in law is still hanging in there. Every time the phone rings, well, you get the idea. So, what's for dinner tonight? Where are we going? I need some heavy duty fun tonight. And tomorrow, we party like there's no tomorrow!!!

I wasn't even born in 1971. I wasn't born until 1972.

Karen

Okay, that's ENOUGH!!!! Okay, so I'm old enough to be your mother, the whole bunch of ya. Big, fat, hairy deal. Now, that was a very mature, old person come back. Is there an 'old person' board someplace? You know...for geriatric dis'ers???

Don't feel bad, goofy4tink, I'm right up there with you!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, although........you ARE OLDER THAN ME!
bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaa.
(Ok, but only by about 4 months)

Sorry, I couldn't resist

goofy4tink and ibouncetoo, I feel like a geriatric on this board also. We don't have to go into too much detail, but I'm only a few years behind you guys. Thank heavens I'm not the only one!

Now as far as Bermuda goes. After WDW it is my most favorite island. We're staying at Pompano Beach Club right on the water with a deluxe ocean view and balcony. So, if the ship leaves WDW and heads that way, you're all invited to come by. They have 5-course gourmet dinners and nightly entertainment on the patio. They have a barbecue and Rum Swizzle Party on Mondays that's supposed to be lots of fun. Their beach is off a 200-ft sandbar that you can walk through that then drops into fabulous coral reefs for great snorkeling. There is a masseuse, a game room, an adult pool, a kids' pool, and several jacuzzis with beach views. Just remember to dress slightly for dinner - no shorts, sneakers, T-shirts or too revealing clothes for nighttime. You're all welcome to join us! (And, unlike another thread - there are NO kitchens or washers and driers. You will be waited on hand and foot in keeping with the princes and princesses you all are!)

Diane, I was shocked that you have a son who is almost my age. You definitely don't look old enough to have a kid that age.

Karen

Sorry ladies but I sold our boat for something a little more cozy

The first Intermarine series 45 built by intermarine is the "Balaju", whose interiors have been designed by Arch. Zuretti. Simplicity has been the guiding principle behind the yacht's clean lines: there is a complete absence of mechanical structures on deck: the tenders are invisible, as is much of the deck equipment, and maximum space is dedicated to guest's use.
In designing the layout special care has been taken for granting to the guests on board the maximum privacy: the service spaces (galley, laundry, etc) are completely segregated from the guests living areas, and also the accesses and passageways dedicated to the crew (located on the left side of the yacht) never cross those dedicated to the guests (located on the right side).
Also the practical aspects of navigation are hidden to the guests (no control station is installed on the sun deck, as usual on yachts of this size), and discretion is the key to the layout.
A full-width master Suite occupies the forward third of the main deck, with the open-plan main salon and dining area aft. The upper deck lounge opens onto a large and shaded external deck, allowing for informal alfresco meals and drinks from the full bar, with privacy from the quayside.

Four guest suites are located on the lower deck, with a dividing bulkhead between the aft pair opening to form a vast VIP suite should the occasion demand it.

A Jacuzzi spa - bath situated on the flybridge and ample sunbeds, will appeal to guests, as will the swimming platform, from where the tenders and the jetskis are available at anchor.
Two Caterpillar 3508B engines give a top speed of 16 knots.
With Extended Range fuel tanks fully loaded, the vessel can achieve a range of about 4000 nm at a cruising speed of 10 knots
