Travel Trailer fire

I travel trailer was completely destroyed by fire this weekend in the 1700 loop. Thank goodness no one was inside and neighbors quickly removed the propane tanks before they could explode. Reedy creek responded and were successful in putting out the fire and keeping it from spreading. This is an example (although extreme) as to why it is important to list all those staying at your site on your reservation and to make sure if you have a pet, it is noted. This way staff can make sure all are safe and accounted for if such an incident was to happen.

You're absolutely right! It's so important to have everyone listed and pets noted. AND to be sure that the front desk has more than one emergency phone number!

And working smoke, co/gas detectors. Hope no one was hurt. I always carry extra extinguishers, but thats more of a habit from work........

Oh my! That would be devastating! Quick thinking of neighbors to get the propane tanks away - glad no one was hurt.
