We are having trouble deciding on whether or not to buy a ticket for the parks on a saturday. We are going during the summer, peak season, etc. The arrival time of our flight is 11:30am. Has anyone arrived at Orlando International at noon on a saturday? How much time between arrival at the airport, getting disney magical express, and arriving at our hotel are we talking here? Is it going to be very slow? Anyone experience this? Because if we arrive at our hotel late, there is no point in buying the ticket for that day, I would rather not waste money and just hang by the pool or something. Thanks

to add a day to your ticket will be, what 20 bucks? if it is peak season there will be a pm emh that you can use. just add the day and if you cant use it, no big deal.

Generally DME takes about 70 minutes from touchdown to get you to your resort. I've found DME to be hit or miss depending on if other flights arrive around the same time as yours. You just never know.

Still, as PP said, adding another day (especially if you are at 4 days or more) is not expensive. You could always just plan on a meal at the park of your choice that day and take things easy.

Once you get above three or four days on your ticket, additional days cost you $3 each. Yep, that's it - $3. Even if Magical Express takes you two hours, you could be at Epcot or Magic Kingdom (likely the two latest-open parks) by 2:30 or 3, giving you a number of extra park hours for just $3 each!

We have arrived at our resort in the afternoon and had plenty of time to relax at the pool,go to dinner AND go to a park! BUY the tickets!!!

If you're going in peak summer period, then the parks will be open late - EMH or not. I'm pretty sure that MK will be open till at least 11 pm. Even if you hit the park at 4 pm, that's almost a full day at a reduced cost.
