travel time to tampa airport

Hi

We have a 10:30 pm Friday out of tampa to toronto.
What time should I leave grand Floridian?
Trying to squeeze 1900 park fare at 4 pm.

You might be able to do that, it will be close. You may be more rushed than you want to be, you will need to be on the way by 5:30 to allow for traffic, etc. You will want to be at the airport 1.5 to 2 hours before your flight (maybe 2-2.5 hours as you are going to Toronto).

It's about an hour and 30 minutes from WDW to the Tampa airport and if you have a rental, allow time to drop off the car and get to the security lines..

I believe that you will clear customs in Toronto so you will be OK with arriving at the airport 90 minutes before your flight. The security lines are not bad at all in TPA (way shorter than MCO). You won't be travelling during the supper rush hour so you will need 90 minutes from WDW to TPA.
Bottom line you would want to be on I-4 no later than 7:30PM , 7:00 for a little added safety.

Personally, I would forgo the meal at GF and pick a nice restaurant somewhere in Tampa or Clearwater near the airport. This will also be more like supper time for you and you won't be starving again before flight time at 10:30
We find that the last day always just gets away on us if we make any plans before our flight and we end up in a panicked rush getting to the airport.

Great advice thanks...the only "problem" is we have 6 unused meal credits so thought it best to use them up while we can.

So we left GF at 5:15 and arrived at tampa airport 7:10. Still plenty of time for flight. worked great and got our meal in
