I just booked a package w/ free dining through Disney, but had them take off the travel insurance (since Mousesavers says I can get better, cheaper insurance elsewhere). Being lazy, as I am, I was wondering if anyone else had already done the research and figured out what other company to go through? We are two adults for six nights, one day base ticket (I am buying 10 day non-expiring all plusses tickets elsewhere). Any ideas? TIA!

Bumping this. I would like to know as well. I will have it taken off my ressie if I can find BETTER and CHEAPER somewhere else?? Anyone??

Unfortunately, trip insurance is non refundable. So, changing companies will not save you money, because you won't get a refund from Disney for the amount you paid for the insurance from them.

A good rule of thumb is to not add insurance until just prior to making your final payment.

Here is a site that will help you research trip insurance.

I actually HAVEN'T PAID anything down yet, I have 14 days to decide if I want to CONFIRM this ressie. So I can't have them take it off??

Try www.insuremytrip.com
You can compare quotes and coverage, it was MUCH cheaper than through Disney.
