I know there are places to get travel insurance (cheaper) other than with your travel agent you book with. Anyone have info on these? Anyone used them? Was it a deal? Thanks.
We have used Travel Guard a couple times and they have been very good (we had a major claim related to our last cruise and they were great in taking care of it). www.travelguard.com
buying travel insurance through a TA shouldn't be an issue ... even if the TA goes out of business after you've purchased the insurance ... it's not llike the TA is the insurance company or the one actually underwriting your policy ... and TA's do sell insurance from the major insurance companies (like Travel Guard and Access America, etc.) so you shouldn't have to be concerned about an insurance company going out of business either.
