Travel from Boardwalk to Downtown Disney

On a day off from the parks my family would like to visit both the Boardwalk and Dowtown Disney. What is the best way to get from one to the other? We will not have a car and will be staying at the Poly. About how long does it take? Thanks!!

You can take a bus direct from any of the Boardwalk area resorts to DTD or vice versa. Allow 45 minutes each way, although it may take less.

Thanks! How about if we are going from the Poly downtown disney? Is the bus the only/best option? How long should we plan for transit? Thanks again!

Yes, there is a bus from the Poly to DTD. And again, allow 45 minutes each way and you should be safe.

Since you are at the Poly another option would be to take the monorail or walk to Magic Kingdom, then a bus from MK to Boardwalk. Vice versa for return. I think this would be faster than taking 2 buses.
